Industrial wholesale and supply for businesses, tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts. We operate an impressive state of the art CNC factory which allows us to sharpen saw blades, regrind tools and manufacture solid carbide tools with the highest quality and efficiency possible.

Our skilled staff can also weld bandsaw blades to any size. UK wide sales and distribution including our own fleet of vans which currently service businesses in Scotland. Our Glasgow based shop is an Authorised Stihl Dealer and Repair Centre. We also stock a wide range of power tools, accessories and consumables from many well known manufacturers, we also have larger industrial machinery on display such as bandsaws, edge banders, spindle moulders, panel saws and so much more.

The Saw centre was prompt and efficient however I still haven't received the item even though I paid for next day delivery, due to the courier. As i said in the message I sent you, it was a shame the delivery, which amounted to about30% of the goods cost was not provided. Hoping it will appear today

Good afternoon, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Sadly couriers can let retailers down on a regular basis so please be aware that the delivery of your item is completely outwith our control. I checked the tracking you were provided and DHL are offering no explanation as to why delivery of your item was delayed on Friday, it does however say it's out for delivery today (as of 3pm Monday). We can only apologise at this point. You paid us for a next working day delivery, we've paid DHL for a next working day delivery - so we're both losing out in this situation. Unfortunately low value orders will always incur delivery charges but if anything can be done to compensate you we will try. Keep us updated with your delivery please.

3 (inherited) planer blades sharpened, although small groove (nail damage) still visible. A couple of more passes with a surface grinder would have cleaned these up.

Hi Michael, sorry to hear you are not happy with the quality of the sharpening on your planer blades. If possible could we see detailed images of the damage you mentioned? We'll get the factory manager to review it and if we feel more could have been done we'd be happy to run all three planer blades through the grinding process again free of charge.

Hi Michael, we appreciate the time you took to take photos and explain the situation to us. The factory are positive that the 80-100 micron chip will not affect the quality of finish on your planer thicknesser since the third blade in the set will always clear the material away that the chips miss on each rotation. However, we are happy to take these back and regrind the full set again for you but we understand you that are too busy to arrange the delivery. Since you are happy to use them; next time you want your set of 3 planer blades sharpened, place your order for 1 blade instead of 3 and we’ll sharpen 2 free of charge for you. We look forward to exceeding your expectations in the future.

Works great thanks, I was supprised to find however that there is a supposed time limit on the amount of use per week / year which I'm likely to go over, perhaps if I'd read the information more intensely I would probably bought a different as it will probably affect the warenty.

Good service but one saw was unsharpened due to broken teeth. My fault I guess but I was still charged for it.

Hi Tony, thank you for taking the time to write a review! It looks like we completely missed refunding you for your unsharpened saw blade, it's our fault and we have now refunded the necessary amount to your account. You could have easily left a one star review there thank you for leaving honest feedback and apologies for the inconvenience caused.

You used DHL who didn't leave it because I wasn't in! (My fault for having a job I guess). So I've got to pi$$ about driving to the centre of Birmingham to get the damn thing...

Unfortunately when you ordered in May many countries including Germany and the UK were in a state of lockdown and delivery times were unpredictable due to backlogged orders and courier limitations. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review that reflects your experience.

Unfortunately, after placing my order for a BASA4.2 bandsaw there was no ongoing communication from The Saw Centre regarding order updates. I had to contact TSC several times to gee-up the delivery of my order. I’m sure I was just unlucky, but there is room for improvement TSC

I think in this case you may be correct; we could have done a little more to keep you in the loop regarding delivery of your bandsaw and we apologise that you had to chase us for it. Honest feedback is the best and we wholeheartedly thank you for it. We have used your feedback to generate a new strategy when dealing with machinery coming from a third party which will ensure that all of these orders are dealt with properly and in a way that keeps the customer up to date with all information regarding their order.
