“Came the time to replace a kikoy bought in Kenya many years ago, I was very pleased to find The Pink Gecko with its wide choice of colourful, well made, high quality and very reasonably priced kikoys (and free delivery), as well as other items. There is a friendly feel about the website. Despatch was immediate, with personal communication and interest by Jo Niblett. This Herefordshire business is highly recommended!”

“Written by my daughter: 'to the super friendly Pink Gecko team, I have worn kikoys for years, they are so versatile. Get this, I fly with one as a scarf, which I then roll up and have as a neck support during the flight! I lived in Kenya as a child, and we used to holiday on the coast at the Baobab and the Two Fishes hotel. I would recommend Pink Gecko to anyone for a vibrant connection with the Kenyan Coast! “I travelled quite widely in my younger days and have in my time had kikoys, lunghis and sarongs, most of which are now long gone, having provided many, many years of good service! My absolute favourite though was a kikoi I bought in Kenya in 1989 (!), so when my last remaining one recently got put out to pasture (in place of a net curtain!) I was so delighted to find your site and I wasn't able to choose between four so bought them all, knowing I will very easily find uses for all of them, alongside the more usual ones (there is just NO END to what they can be used for)! In addition, it was brilliant to read on about how you have fed profits back into supporting the communities of the people who make them, too - really love your ethics. Communication was great and they were sent out and received very quickly. Thank you so much - they are beautiful and it brings me joy just to look at them. :-)”

“As a small child in early 60's, Kenya kikoys were an essential part of beach house life. Now I always buy them from The Pink Gecko and they bring a touch of those wonderful places to the muddiest of Norfolk creeks and rockiest of Ligurian bays. Wonderful colours and the perfect towel, table cloth, change-under, sun hat, carry-all, and baby-sling.”
