No contact to numerous emails, online queries and Facebook messages. No phone number listed and the one I found after hours of searching just rang out. Waiting on a refund. Quality of the lighter wasn’t what I expected but my issue is with the lack of any kind of customer service. Appreciate the current situation may make things harder but this has been months now. Please respond and issue my refund. Item has been returned via recorded delivery and signed for.

I tried numerous times by email and phone to contact you but to no avail.....still awaiting a reply....... I was pleased with the purchase of the lighter but as I had it engraved for my grandsons 21st birthday was very disappointed with the result as you could hardly see the inscription, and as I said above I tried to contact you and had to give it to my grandson and explain my disappointment, so would not order or recommend this company to anyone!

Lighter I ordered came 1-2 days after my order but,it was fully scratched on the back and I emailed them but no body came back to me..this gift was very sentimental for me but they ruined it..I did attach pictures on the email

I have recently ordered and received a matte green zippo of which I had request it to be engraved with my husband's initials. I placed the order and I immediately emailed the engraving@ email provided on the website as I wanted the engraved letters to positioned in the bottom corner and not central as the options to choose from were limited on the main site and they advised to do this if you wanted anything different. I never had a response and had assumed (of which I now know not too) it had been all fine to make the changes as only simple. About a week or so later the lighter turned up. Firstly, the amendments to my email request were never actions, secondly I have emailed every email address on the site several times to address the above and have to date not received a response (and I have even been keeping an eye on my Junk folder), I have given them a week and still nothing. I am not normally one to leave a review but this is a miss sold product with the poorest customer service I have ever received. I am extremely let down and disappointed by this company. Before ordering I relied on the reviews on these pages, as this is not something I would normally purchase as it is gift, so I felt for people out there like me need to know this company is not all it is made out to be by the reviews left. I am sure others have received what they were after or had good customer service but in this instance, this is not the case.

I ordered a Zippo lighter for a birthday present. I paid £2.95 and was told delivery would be 3 days. I still hadn’t received it 13 days later. I missed the birthday and had to buy something else as I didn’t have a gift. I appreciate that you have no control over the post but I think that wait was unacceptable. I e mailed twice about it and I’m still waiting for a reply. Thanks

The definition of engraving, in my opinion is etching into metal. what I recieved was not etched into metal but rather attatched or sprayed onto... Disapointing. Will not bother with this shop again.

The lighter shop is everything a top quality company should be, responsive, reliable and approachable. I wanted a surprise 18th birthday gift for my son who has been selected to join the army and the lighter shop has not disappointed. Their website is easy to use and I placed the order quickly. I decided a short time later (same evening) that I wanted to change my engraving message and I contacted the lighter shop via their Facebook page to confirm the email I had sent via their website. I received a message confirming my amended order within hours and the gift ordered within 48 hours. The quality of the Zippo and accessories is excellent and having a lifetime guarantee makes the gift even more special - a gift for life. The personal message was perfect. I would recommend The Lighter shop to anyone wanting a company with great customer service and fast turn around. Many Thanks The Lighter Shop, one happy customer!

Engraving was incorrectly spelled I have tried ringing the contact number and sent numerous e mails and no answer or reply. This was a present for a friend his birthday was 23rd April and I can't even give him the lighter I got him because his name is incorrect. Absolutely shocking service never ever again !!!!!!!!

Absolutely disgusted in the service I have received. Have sent 2 emails one week apart letting them know that the lighter does not work (the first email was sent 2 weeks ago) and had radio silence. When you spend £30 on a lighter you expect it to work. It's unfortunate I could not give zero stars. Sort it out.

bought a zippo lighter from the lighter shop lasted 8 hours was a gift design fell off the front. contacted lighter shop 3 times and still had no reply would not recommend or use again.
