On searching the exact item I bought after receiving the manufacturers details at the time of delivery - I found the same bucket/shovel significantly cheaper elsewhere. However, I cannot fault ease of ordering, excellent communications and speed of delivery. Overall satisfied.

I bought a stove on 18th July paid in full and waited for it to be delivered. At the end of July there was no sign of it so I emailed. I was told it wasn't coming because it had been recalled by the manufacturer. I was told my £599 would be refunded and appear in my bank in a couple of days. 12 days later I am still chasing them for my refund. Despite emails and telephone calls I still have not received my money back from them. I am disappointed to say the least.

I can confirm that the stove selected was recalled by the manufacturer and our frustration was that we were informed after your order had been placed and that no stock was to be forwarded to customers. I would like to thank you for identifying a glitch in our internal system and we have now put in place measures to ensure this does not happen again. After haveing no contact from the company for over 3 weeks I chased up my order and was told it had been dispatched. I heard nothing back got 3 days and rang the company and was told it hadn't been dispatched. The next day I was told that the order had been damaged in transit and they had no more in stock and would refund the money. Poor communication, I don't belive I have been told the truth about what has happened with my order. Very poor service.

Dear Mr Longstaff, With regards to the order that you placed with us on the 26th July 2014 & in response to the review that you left on the 9th August, please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience & the failure of our normal high standards. After you contacted us to enquire about the delivery of your fireplace surround, it was traced back by the delivery company & we were advised that it had been badly damaged in transit. Once this was found to be the case, a full refund was immediately offered. Rather than accept this, you requested & selected an alternative surround. This was changed immediately on the system & a new delivery date was advised. It would appear that when you telephoned, the receptionist quite correctly looked on the screen & advised that the surround had not been dispatched yet. This was in fact for the replacement surround & not for the original damaged item. I can only apologise profusely for the unacceptable confusion on our part & can advise that we have confirmed via email, the dispatch date of your replacement surround. It has been a pleasure dealing with The Fireplace Warehouse. The customer service has been excellent, the delivery time unbeleivably short and the product itself is out of this world at a really competitive price. I would strongly reccomend them to anyone.

The first delivery was prompt, but the fire surround was badly damaged. I contacted the company and a replacement was dispatched within a week. Beautiful fire surround now in place.

Very pleased with the quality, value and speedy delivery of the fire surround. Only slight hiccup was with order confirmation as ordered online but soon sorted.

Wanted a patio heater for our new garden, it didn't want a bog standard one. Searched online and found a fabulous one on the fireplace warehouse. Website was easy to order off, delivery swift and absolutely love the patio heater. We are now envied by all who see it.

I have purchased stuff from this company before and ordered another hearth and back plate when I moved house, they are one of the cheapest on the net and there stuff is excellent. my new hearth arrived with a back plate an the hearth was broken in two, I di have a problem getting through to them but when I did they were very helpful polite and immediately offered a replacement of both, which I received very quickly, I am more than happy with my purchase and excellent Mr Anderson

Lawrence 5kw multifuel stove was the cheapest we are found anywhere around (350 £), at the local shops they are cost 1000+ so far it`s working perfect, easy enough to heat ours lounge delivery take about 4-5 days great communication with Highly recommended seller

Received goods as ordered in a well wrapped pallet. Unfortunately, I have not opened the pallet/wrapping yet to check it all but it all seems ok. I will of course be in conact if there are any issues but my builder is not in position to do anything with this/install the fireplace until the start of July. Best Regards, Brian Murtagh

The fireplace is perfect just what i wanted. Fireplace Warehouse are very helpful, and gave good advice when asked for. Delivery was on time, and the driver was very helpful to me when the suite was delivered.

A piece of our fireplace surround has fallen off, it looks like it had very little glue to hold it on. We have been waiting for weeks for a reply from the Fireplace
