Item purchased aren't packaged well - If you order a curtain track fully expect it to turn up bent and busted - any other smaller items in the package will also be lost along the way. I could accept this if they were willing to resolve, but the shoddy service continues; they're unresponsive to emails and unwilling to refund - over a week later I've till had no indication what's going on to resolve. I've had a random refund for a fraction of the amount obviously designed so I'd see a refund issued and mislead into thinking it's resolved. No further explanation and radio silence since. Don't believe the 'paid-for' reviews they promote on Feefo.

Dear James, Please accept our apologies for the shortfall in service on this occasion regrettably we have recently experienced Covid outbreaks within our Customer Service Team and while putting processes in place to keep staff safe ( ie working from home in some cases ) it has impacted on our service levels and we appear not to have met the usual standards Terrys like to offer. I have investigated the matter and can see my colleague has been in direct contact with you and the matter has been resolved hopefully to your satisfaction. I would like to advise all reviews, on any sites, are supplied by genuine customers because as a family business, we will always strive to improve on the service we offer our customers and thank you for this feedback and the opportunity to put it right. Faulty curtains delivered. Ordered 2 pairs approx £115. Pattern does not match up. Spent all day trying to get someone to answer phone which rings then you press 1 it cuts off. Other option press 2 also cuts off. Online chat was not working all day finally able to leave message at end of Wednesday. Had email form :- services at terrysfabric.co.uk asking me to send photos and explain about the damaged packaging I had. Did not write this on chat form. Good job I took a photo. Tried to send another email today and yesterday and coming up server not recognised. Total disgrace. I am a pensioner and cannot afford to lose this money. Goods are faulty why should I pay for returns. There are laws governing this also you get so frustrated by lack of customer care. How can that Terry have his picture on everything to make it look like a decent firm. Disgusted.

My order for curtains were delivered promptly but the pair I received is very badly made with a wonky hem and linings that have not been sewn in straight. I have discovered that there is absolutely no way of contacting anyone for a replacement - only an automated messaging service that tells you what you already know. The returns policy says they should be contacted about faulty products but this is impossible. Call them and told the customer service office is closed due to Covid. If I return for a refund I will lose my original shipping cost of £3.99 + a charge of £4.49 for a returns label! Shocking.

Fabric was nothing like I thought. Said i can't return it, because there policy doesn't allow fabric to be returned. Despite it being still in its original packaging. Won't use in future and wouldn't recommend. A quick Google search shows a multitude if negative reviews.

Dear Mike, we are sorry to learn that our product did not meet your expectation. We provide a free sampling service prior to placing an order, to ensure the selected design is appropriate to requirements, in respect of colour, pattern, and quality. Our fabric is cut from a larger roll and is cut specifically to the customer’s requested length, which is the reason the fabric is a non-returnable item. Beginning to agree with bad reviews!! Even when you call they have no information as to where your order actually is and blame the manufacturer, I thought they were the manufacturer!!! Misled at time of placing order on timeframes and should of gone elsewhere!!

Dear customer, our apologies that you were unhappy with the service provided. We do display time-frames/lead times on all products prior to purchase. Due to the vast selection we offer some items are manufactured by the supplier and on the odd occasion the due date may move. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. They let me order the product back in mid February 2021, knowing that it was out of stock and then I started getting emails saying it was out for delivery (this was happening 2 or 3 times a week). Finally, last week, they sent me a text saying that they couldn't get hold of me and to expect a refund. Still waiting! 3 MONTHS LATER........Absolutely rubbish!

Dear customer, it is unfortunate the design you selected was not a stocked design the suppliers amended the expected arrival date on a couple of occasions, and they eventually decided to discontinue the range. While we fully understand the delay may be frustrating, we do hope you appreciate some situations are beyond our control, but we aim to provide the best solution available. wow wish i had read these reviews before i ordered iems was promised for delivery on 22/05 21 which was despatched that day and has now been at sheffield Fed Ex for 7 days ?? i contacted CS who confirmed it would be sorted that day, called again just now and i have been told 3 days! they didnt even ask my name or any details to follow up . In my opinion i should be refunded or be sent a replacement whilst you sort your error! £170 of my money taken appalling

Horrendous company! Once they have taken your money there is no way of talking to anyone it is all done by AI you just go round and round in circles. They are quick enough to take your money, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever. Shop elsewhere!

I purchased some curtains with a no quibble refund. There was no clear note to say buyer to pay returns otherwise I wouldn't have ordered from there! The item packaging turned up damaged but didn't affect the curtain. The colour wasn't the same as the website so looked to return it to find out I had to pay £5 returns! Absolute joke! It's not clear and considering it states no quibble refund you'd assume that includes returns unless stipulated. I WILL NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN

I understand the shortage of stock but trying to contact this company is beyond a joke. Obviously reading other reviews I’m not alone. I’ve used Terrys fabrics for a few years but time to find someone else and move on.

No way of emailing, texting or phoning this Company at the moment. As Iv used them in the past trusted their good service. Hugely concerned now over a £94 + order paid for !! How sad Too Much Of this going on ... certainly a case for an Omnibus manOR National Newspaper to take up ..

Placed online order on 10 March. No indication of delivery provided. Tracking info just says ‘order placed 10 March’. There is no way of contacting company. Recorded phone message just blames coronavirus for not being able to provide telephone support. No way of emailing company. Really disappointed with this appalling lack of customer service. I just want to know when to expect my fabric. Not much to expect. I simply can’t believe the good reviews. They must be fake.

Completely unable to get response on phone - contact online help not good, letter 26th March - no reply, still awaiting refund for items returned on 26 February, received by Terrys on 2nd March. Something wrong with their tracking as on 12th March it said - order placed 17th February - and "not yet shipped", even though I have received them! The curtains look good though, but the service bad. Very disappointed.

I am most disappointed with the terrible service from Terrys Textiles. I ordered some curtains £100.76 the beginning of February and paid by Pay Pal (luckily) it gave me a tracking number (doesnt work) I tried their online portal to contact them entered my order number and email address it didn't recognize my order number or email address?? I cant phone or contact anyone via portal or email! absolutely dreadful how does this company stay trading or are they .......... I am going to get a refund from Pay Pay eventually if they continue to ignore my messages (through Paypal) all I ever wanted was the order or if they were delayed at least an expected delivery date.

Terrible company that has incompetent customer service and supplies goods not fit for purpose. Unable to speak to anyone ‘due to COVID’. That lame excuse is simply a smoke screen to hide behind their incompetence. I discovered that they do not actually make their products; the work (ie, our orders placed in good faith) are farmed out to others. Do not use this company; you’ll be bitterly disappointed if you do.

Ordered curtain rails that allegedly arrived on 02/02/2021. Should have arrived the day before. Delivery confirmation says it was delivered and I had signed for it which was impossible as I had been working 14 hours that day. No luck with tracking where it had gone either with FedEx or Terrys fabric. I am now down 49.00 GPB and can ill afford this. No phone number, and no response to emails. Am disgusted
