“Delivery was prompt. I bought the 8 pack promotion. I've only tried the Goan curry so far, and I must say it lacked heat! I followed instructions and chopped all three chillies for a "hot" flavour, disappointed. However the spiciness was fine!”

Hi Andy, really glad you enjoyed cooking our Goan. In terms of the heat, we've had to try and gauge what the majority of the population would find hot, I feel you might be like us and enjoy the hot hot end of the scale. We often add extra chillies to a dish (when my partner isn't eating it) to turn the heat up, this can be done without ruining your base flavours. “We purchased this as a gift for a curry lover and had it sent directly to them...they loved the surprise and sent photos- the kits look great and they are looking forward to try different curries that they might never have tried. Hi Allison, Thanks for your lovely review. We have specific gift options (e.g. our gift box) where you're able to leave a message for your recipient. “I have to say how easy it is to cook these meals by simply following the instructions on the packet. I’m not a chef by any means, I was surprised how easy it is and how tasty they are, also the different selections on ingredients and how to make it to your taste especially with the hotter meals. It’s one thing wanting to make a curry and getting all the ingredients together always seemed to be jarred or tinned ingredients but with Tastesmiths it’s fresh produce and all you have to add is a tomato variant, vegetables and your preferred meat option. 10/10”
