“So far I’ve made 2 of my 6 meals. They are absolutely amazing. The recipes are easy to follow. The results are fantastic. First one I did was Goan fish curry. It was gorgeous. I actually prefer it to a takeaway. You know exactly what is in it so it’s much healthier. Can’t recommend them enough.”

“As a family we each picked a different Tastesmiths pack for a family cooking competition. Each night we cooked the dish we had selected for the rest of the family and voted the best dish of the week. Well, the voting didn't work so well as we loved them all!! Easy to follow instructions that the teenagers with limited cooking skills could follow and still produce a spot on dish.”

“My first purchase of six to try out the packs. They contain lots of hard to find -,in a rural area - fresh ingredients and interesting spice mixtures. They are a bit heavy on the chillis so recommend starting with mild option and working up. They are not a quick throw everything in the pot solution to a quick meal but provide the basis for experimentation with flavours and a variety of meats and vegetables.”

“The two curries I had were delicious. It is definitely not a 'quick' meal as it takes a lot of preparation. The biggest issue I have is that all the packs have the same sell by date which was just over 3 weeks from receiving them. you say that they can be frozen but to be honest freezing fresh garlic, ginger and chillies will I think affect the taste, and for that reason alone I would not recommend them.”

Hi Anna, thanks for the review. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed cooking with us. However it is 100% fine to freeze our kits and it will not effect the taste what so ever as long as you don't defrost before cooking, hope this helps.

“I haven’t used them but bought them as a gift one for my son one for my daughter. They have both used at least one of the spices, if not two, and were delighted with the, highly recommended.”
