“My order arrived promptly and I decided which packs I would freeze for later. Madras is a favourite of mine and I prepped it for the slow cooker this time adding chicken. As usual, it was "full on flavour" and with some added veg it made 4 good portions. Need to order more soon. I prepared the fresh ingredients for the Goan fish curry and boxed and froze them for use soon (a tip I heard from another Tastesmiths fan). I enjoy the step-by-step advice and find the whole process quite therapeutic.”

“Great taste / flavour but a little dissapointed in use by dates that means you will have to freeze some of your kits ( resulting in chilli's etc going very soft when defrosted) unless your going to eat one a day.”

“I’m a regular customer, and I’m never disappointed. Flexibility is key for me, with various allergies and dietary requirements in the house, these are perfect. If you’re gluten free, I highly recommend making the dhal, making it a bit sloppy and using it as a brilliant alternative to chip shop curry sauce which contains barley. Just slop it over your chip shop chips and no longer feel like you’re missing out.”

“Started buying these packs during lockdown and loved them. Now had more than 100 packs and the last one is as good as the first. I’ve heard it said that a ‘curry is a curry’ but not with these! Each one has a different flavour and lots of texture differences too. Well worth the effort of preparing from the quality individual ingredients, customise your self to achieve mild or hot. Wouldn’t get a curry anywhere else now. Just hoping they will bring out a Bombay Potato pack one day!”

“Food products are excellent and worth 5 stars. Standard delivery took ten days which is unacceptable. I ordered on a Tuesday for a planned curry on Saturday night which seemed reasonable because they use 2nd class post. Needless to say a change of menu was required!!! I have used Tastesmiths for over 2 years and their standard delivery times used to be 2 - 4 days. Premium delivery is expensive - almost the cost of 2 of their curries.”
