“My order took 9 days to arrive when I chased that up by email I was told not to use the goods. Did not receive a refund.”

“I found the chill con carne lacking something, so the second time I made it I replaced one of the tins of kidney beans with baked beans. Perhaps it's just the way I like my chill.”

“I've only tried the Rogan Josh and I must say that is one of the best curries I've made and I'm well known for them in my village, very easy to understand and make,I will definitely be buying more,can't wait to try the madras”

“I’ve tried them all now and they are all by far better than any takeaway we’ve had. The Goan Fish curry is our favourite, it all tastes so fresh and very easy to make.”

“I enjoy cooking but have never been brilliant with curry & due to lockdown we have not been able to have our regular curry meals out. I decided to have a go with Tastesmiths curries & I bought 8 different curries. They are great because each curry comes with all the spices & ingredients you need. I started with the Madras & only had to add tinned tomatoes and chicken. It was absolutely delicious! It tasted wholesome too. No nasty artificial ingredients which you can get in a pre made jar of curry sauce. I also like the fact that the recipe is part of the packaging & that you can freeze the packets to use at a later date. I am very much looking forward to trying the rest of the curries. Because they are reasonably priced I picked some curries I've never even heard of let alone eaten so it will be exciting experimenting with them. Full Mark's to Tastesmiths for an outstanding product.”

“Honestly these have changed my meal cooking life. As someone who cooks every night for a meat eater who doesn't like Quorn or spicy, an autistic vegetarian who is very specific in what they will eat, and a gluten intolerant (amongst other things), vegan, these kits are just perfect. I can use the heat guide to adjust the spice heat for each persons taste. I have my three pans on the go, then make the sauce using the kits and add it to each one. The flavour is amazing, it's so simple to follow, and makes cooking from scratch with different requirements easy. This was my second order, and definitely not my last.”

“Best curry I have ever tasted! I like how you can adapt them to suit your taste. Saturday evening ritual is cooking one of these, nice glass of beer on the side. Early delivery issues seem to have been sorted now. We'll done everyone.”

“Just made the korma masala today - with lamb - it was delicious. Made it in the morning then re-heated for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. Next will be the Makhani! Shared the kits with my 2 sons too.”

Hi Michael, thanks for the review. Our kits are all fresh ingredients however they can be frozen if you need to, if this is what you decide to do we advise cooking the kits from frozen.

“Tried the tikka masala last Friday night. Instructions were easy peasy to follow and it was interesting to see the order of adding the spices. The meal was a rummy and enjoyed by all. Friday is now officially home made curry night👍”

“The packs are great - only thing I bought them as Xmas presents but think the dates aren’t that long before needing freezing if not using straight away & need refrigeration before use, making It trickier to give as a present. I ended up keeping them myself instead of presents. Think this should be made clearer. The Sri Lankan curry was very tasty & easy to follow.”
