“I love these kits, they’re so easy to use and every one I’ve tried is delicious. Because you can control the heat my kids are happy to eat them too which is a bonus”

“First time I have tried Tastesmiths - followed the very clear instructions (really good information regarding the strength) how many chillies etc, must say for a first time ever making a home curry from scratch it was excellent. I have two more to try - The Makhari and the Rhogan Josh, looking forward 😍👍”

“If you are thinking about purchasing any of these kits just do it! The taste is so authentic the Jamaican Jerk Marinade, The Goan Curry, and the Balti Masala are all favourites in my house ...and so easy to make”

“The kits are well presented but the dates were so short, I had to use all kits within a. Couple of weeks, that's a lot of curry The kits taste quite good but I don't want to be freezing them as soon as I purchase them Not sure I would buy again”

Hi Mark, unfortunately, those date issues are tied to working with purely fresh ingredients. Forzen kits perform perfectly well, we recommend not defrosting before use.

“A good product. The instructions are easy to follow and the end product is very good. They are also well presented and make a good gift set for friends and family if you would like to give something a little different. Reasonably priced, and we will definitely purchase regularly.”

“I'd never buy all the individual ingredients to make a proper restaurant quality curry, but Tastesmiths made it easy with everything included in the pack, together with clear instructions, including how to vary the hotness. I'm looking forward to cooking the next one and will be ordering more. Highly recommended.”

“Am I glad I tried these! Every single one I have made is delicious. I particularly like Goan curry, so so tasty. Having all the fresh ingredients provided in just the right quantities is brilliant as there is no waste, all you need to add is your choice of meat/fish/veggies. Would 100% recommend, great value for money too.”

“Ordered the chilli con carne for a gathering with friends, doubled up for seven people and more than enough. Kept the seeds in half a of the chillis and it turned out a perfect medium spice. Went down very well and one of the nicest I’ve made be it from scratch or various packet seasoning options. Will definitely order again”

“Quick delivery and no issues on what was received. Very disappointed in the meals. Ordered 6, have tried 4 and they are very bland. We have followed the instructions to the letter and really not enjoyed the meals. We found Gusto meals tasted better. Sorry.”

“I think these are as near as possible to what I make from my granddad pops recipes. His ability to blend spices to create home made authentic dishes was second to none. You'll not be disappointed with these. The only criticism I have is not having a detailed list of the spices and their quantities.”
