“I ordered a box of Tastesmiths kits to be delivered to my sister-in-law for her (lockdown!) 60th. Feedback on WhatsApp is great "Khoresh from Persia for tea tonight. Smells fantastic - sweet potato & aubergine etc It is FABULOUS. We went veggie and the taste is so authentic. The dried lime gives it a wonderful depth." "Makhani now - it tastes as good as it looks. It is a TRIUMPH!" Well - on that feedback we have now ordered our own kits and are happily awaiting them!”

“Tried some of these mixes as a change from the 'supermarket shelf' curry jars we'd been using for years, and what a difference. Cooking with fresh ingredients took a bit - although only a bit - longer than just slopping a jar of paste into a pan, but the difference in taste was remarkable and there was a certain satisfaction in knowing you'd produced an 'authentic' curry. The instructions are very easy to follow and it is possible to vary each recipe - in terms of both heat and taste - according to your preferences, so you can experiment to get just the curry you want. The Rogan Josh cooked with butterbeans has been our fave so far, did it medium heat and it went down a storm: cooked enough for eight, but four of us demolished the lot before the freezer had a chance to see any leftovers......”

“Absolutely delicious! Very handy packs that save having to buy lots of different spices or source ingredients that may be harder to find. I love how the coconut is wrapped in brown paper and string - so cute! We’ve had 3 or 4 curries so far and all have been great. You can decide how hot you want it and the instructions are clear. We cooked the Sri Lankan curry for Valentine’s Day and used monkfish which was excellent! These little kits just make a regular curry a bit special. We have also sent a gift voucher to a family member which was gratefully received.”

“Love the boxes, yes could have put these together myself, but just the right quantities and no waste with spices that would waste if bought separately. Love the taste of the meals.”

“Ive never embarked on food delivery of this type before . As I cook curry quite well,including lots of Thai But as soon as I received my packs I chose 2 more x 6 packs for my son's. They have been so excited to receive them and we are sharing photos between us of the results . Smells amazing . Fresh beautiful contents . Every dish is perfect and we are learning all the specific differences between Currys. Without the drama of not knowing if you have all that is needed in the larder Totally amazed and will continue for certain . Thankyou for the new exoerience”

“Amazing collection of spice packs, best chilli con carne I’ve tasted, Onion bhajis, tikka masala and pilau rice were divine and just like curry and sides from an Indian restaurant. Definitely be ordering again! 😊”

“First time I have ordered these and will be doing again, so far i have made the Madras (did this one too hot) put too many chilies in (4), so next one i did Korma Masala just used 2, it was so nice, going to try the Balti Masala next, also made the Shish Kebab there were great too!”

“These packs contain very straightforward, easy to follow instructions, and the right balance of ingredients. Which gives anybody a chance to makes a very authentic tasting home made curry. The rogan is an absolute game changer.”

“I m told I am a reasonably good cook but have never had a good curry in my repertoire -never ever would make one for visitors. No longer the case know I have found tastesmiths , I now have a list of different ones, all really good, well balanced , flavourful options. that I will happily feed others. All I’ve cooked have been really good but favourite is rogan josh with lamb It’s outstanding- better than our (very good) Indian restaurant. And the pilau rice is the best rice I’ve ever had, will never just boil rice ever again. Instructions are step by step, so easy to follow. Good instruction for vegetarian or spice heat option Have seen people asking portion size, instructions say 2-3 ppl- we eat it between 2 of us. It’s so good! Have done 2 orders and am in no doubt I will be ordering more. .”

“I bought a selection of six for my husband for his birthday (he's the chef in the house). We just finished the second one and it was delicious. He is very impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the clarity of the instructions. We are now thinking of getting some for his daughter for her birthday too!”

“Excellent value, excellent curries, I would maybe recommend using blended garlic and ginger in a sachet, shelf life would be longer then, but maybe that's me being lazy, I would definitely be using again”
