“I bought the pack of 6 mixes and so far I have used 3. They were delicious . Recipe cards are very easy to follow and set out so you know what you need and what to do .A great way of trying different curries without buying loads of different spices that you only use once and then they sit in your cupboard .”

“Placed order online but there was no indication of when the delivery would be made. It came fairly soon though and the ingredients looked ok.”

“Very authentic curry makings. Hub and I love our cooking together evenings. Instructions are easy to follow. I read reviews that complained about the prep and cooking times but this is part of the experience. Open a bottle of wine and do a 'Floyd'. So pleased I found this company on Facebook. The way the rice is cooked is a new one on me but it is delicious.”

“After a year of eating our own cooking in lockdown we were missing eating out and looking for inspiration. I ordered six kits from Tastesmiths and have been absolutely blown away by the quality and the totally original flavors. The spice kits are all fresh, well prepared and the recipes and ideas are simple to follow with great ideas. I've tried foods I've never had before and they've all been amazing so far, especially as the whole family are wimps when it comes to spices! We had our first (slightly terrifying) experience with a scotch bonnet when we did the Jamaican Jerk kit and it was delicious!”

“We love Tastesmiths...my husband has now ordered several times and we've had them sent to family too. Have really enjoyed all that we've tried...even better my husband has taken charge of preparing and cooking them! You can make them as mild or as hot as you like and everything you need is included. Excellent.. highly recommend.”

“Think from seeing all reviews on fb looks like I'm the only one that is disappointed. Arrived quickly enough but think very overpriced for what you get. Should just sell the spices . Husband enjoyed Goan curry however being a real curry fan and haven eaten in some of the best curry houses I was extremely disappointed have to say worst tikka masala I've had. Can't fault quality or freshness of ingredients but just not for me.”

“I can whole heartedly recommend these kits to any one whether they be an experienced cook but lacking an understanding of the intricate art of spicing like me (too old and lazy to learn) or a complete novice cook. The kits and the instructions are comprehensive enough for the novice to produce a delicious dish and can be safely adjusted to suit the habits of an experienced cook without loss of quality.”
