“These are just fantastic kits…… my favourite is the chilli con carne. This time round I had the Goan curry and the shish kebab, both amazing, so simple but you get a real sense of achievement whilst making them”

“I find these kits consistent and reliable including the chilli heat guides - they work brilliantly so I can make one for husband at medium and spice it up for me. They are also brilliant if like me you have allergies/ intolerances (egg and dairy) and you keep them lower fat too. Most recently I made the rogan josh with some organic mutton in the slow cooker and a vegan timatar marsala. I tend to batch cook (we live 4 miles from our nearest corner shop/ take away) and if the spares are then popped in the freezer - it's then like having a take away with the quality of home cooking I regularly use and like the piri piri (with chicken to remind my sister and I of our childhood) the rogan josh with lamb for my husband the dedicated carnivore and the timatar marsala is my go to for the veggie option (normally with whatever is around and seasonal) I use the tex mex chilli both with mince and with slowcook beef both are yummy”

“Wonderful. I enjoy all I purchase with my homemade Naans and spicy Chutneys. Unfortunately Brexit means that the Irish revenue add a substantial duty and the Irish postal service a charge for administering the revenue charge. A courier service would eliminate all that.”

“Have tried several curries from Tastesmiths & our fav is Goan. All taste very nice & great being able to adjust the "heat" with the chillis to our taste. I enjoy cooking them although they do taste different to the same dish's from a resturant but this isnt a problem.”

“My third purchase from Tastesmiths. I have genuinely enjoyed all of the thirteen meals I have made to date. My personal favourite is Persian Khoresh, a lovely spicy dish with a good hit of lime. I have used fish, prawns, chicken and vegetables as a base for the dishes. I never thought it but I very much enjoy the vegetables far more than I expected. Yet to be disappointed by any of the selection I chose. Goan fish curry tomorrow with cod and prawns. I use raw King Prawns and do not put them in to cook until the last few minutes. Save half and use them the following day, cooking the prawns as I reheat. Prawns stay lovely and soft. I will be back for more and have no hesitation in recommending the deals and meals provided. 'Take Away's' are a thing of the past. Stay safe.”

“Excellent choice of curry flavours and marinades, ideal for self catering weekends away where you want the taste of a takeaway but the option of cooking yourself without lugging your spice cupboard with you. Delivery is not quick but this is not a criticism. Good value and really tasty. I have ordered 3 times over the last 6 months or so and happy to order again in the near future.”
