“Only a four as so far have only tried two out of the eight but would recommend in what I've tasted so far; the Goan Prawns and Persian Khoresh. Next up is the Jamaican Jerk. So far so excellent in taste and value.”

“I found the prep for the ingredients hard as I have problems with my hands !!So passed them onto my daughters”

“Have only used 2 of the 8 I bought but they were absolutely lovely. Some are recipes that I have never tried before in that choice. I love the fact that you are using fresh herbs and spices just like things are made in a proper restaurant. The rest are in the freezer ready to be used very soon. Thank you”

“I enjoy cooking and eating Tastesmihs curry. OK they take a bit longer but all the ingredients are fresh and and free from preservatives. Adding caramelised fresh onions helps the taste. Storing them in the freezer does not take much room.”

“Missing garlic in the goan fish curry and ingredients not very fresh considering the date was 30th August but apart from that, very tasty thanks”

“Bought a selection but gave only tried the Berbere curry and the Persian Khoresh, both were excellent with the Khoresh going down particularly well with the other half.”

“All essential spices are provided, it's quite time consuming to prep all these. So far we have had 2 of the curries, and enjoyed both. But I don't think I'll order again, I think it's expensive for what it is.”

Thank you so much for your 4-star rating of The Tastesmiths, Sharon! Using our kits saves money and reduces food waste. The ingredients included in our kits are in the right portions. When buying the same ingredients, including up to 10 spices in a blend, the total cost will be in excess of our kits and most likely result in wastage or accumulation in store cupboard of stale spices.

“I've been using tastesmiths for a few years now, my personal favourite is madras, I have tried other kit's in the past but these are far the best, I would absolutely recommend this kit's to anyone.”

“I remain very impressed with the Tastesmiths products and have been a repeat customer for a few years now. Quality remains excellent and although I freeze them all they come back perfectly well once thawed - the ginger retains some water but I squeeze that into the mix anyway.”
