“Fell Foot Lodge was an excellent place to have a nice break in the Lakes, one or two little things needed a bit of attention, a couple of bulbs were not working and we couldn't get the TV in the double bed room to work.

“Absolutely smashing place to stay - warm , comfortable , clean , spacious. Highlights are the walk in shower and wood burning stove - luxury!
Slight quibbles were two 1) the number of artificial pot plants , especially on window sills where it is already not easy to manoeuvre Roman blinds up and down 2) to stay as long as we did ( a week) we needed to cook , and the cooking equipment was a funny mixture of things. Good pans but absolutely no covered casserole dish or roasting pan; heaps of glasses but no bowls small or large in which to put vegetables/ salad. But hey - overall we loved it and will be back.”

We appreciated that the owners left instructions for what we needed to know about appliances, rubbish disposal etc. We would have liked to have instructions on what to do with recycling.”
“The upstairs downstairs cottage was a really lovely find, it's a lovely well presented property in a nice quaint little village, we really enjoyed our stay and bobby our little jack Russell loved playing in the paddock, the paddock had a long lead that your able to use and our bobby would have been able to escape because he is a terrier, the lead was a good send, . The cottage came with loads of added extras as a welcome pack a really nice touch and Dan is a really nice and helpful man we enjoyed our stay at the cottage and we're planning on returning again next year, thanks Dan for having us stay at your lovely clean cottage and can't wait to see you again soon 😊😊😊”
