“Absolutely delicious cake! Took a gamble ordering a chocolate 16th birthday cake for my son from a company I hadn’t used before - it arrived on time, in perfect condition and tasted amazing!! Packaging was lovely, the sponge and buttercream tasted really fresh. Can’t recommend this company enough! Will definitely be buying from sponge again. Thank you!”
“ORdered Wednesday morning for next day delivery. Didn't come next day, or the day after. apparently the courier company didn't get it in time. Unfortuantely it was for a wedding tomorrow so too late now. Absolutely gutting”

“We ordered a cake for my Granddad as a lockdown surprise. Unfortunately the delivery firm left the cake outside in the sun on the hottest day of the year and didn't notify us that it had been delivered for 4hrs. The cake (which was filled with buttercream) was inedible.
What was worse was the reaction of the company (Amy) who was incredibly condescending in her responses and essentially told us it was tough and the cake would have been fine sat in the sun all day!

Order 3 different baby sponges for 3 different friends at different addresses. I thought I'd cheer them up because they were feeling a bit low due to the current situation.

All 3 cakes were to arrive for a set date. Two friends received them. The third box of cakes didn't arrive. Was told each day they would turn up when I enquired. Nothing. There was an apparent address confusion.
Was then told the dept had not sent it out.
In the meanwhile, I've ordered numerous items other places during this time - all have been reliable.
Called and told I'd get a refund. Not the point at all.
Won't be using this service again.

“The cake that I spent a generous £25 on for my mother and fathers birthday was left in a general waste bin in 24 degree heat for a day as no calling card had been left. When contacting customer service they apologised and could not investigate, which I find absolutely appalling, wouldnt bother spending your money here guys and girls.”
