I do wish theyd allow for lower resolution photos to be used, because sometimes people like that washed out cloud effect.
The cakes didn't arrive. Nothing to do with Sponge and everything to do with the delivery man who was too lazy to look for flat numbers.
Sponge resent the order, which was very kind of them. Unfortunately the delivery man didn't make it up one flight of stairs or take the lift and left it downstairs. This was better than shoving it anywhere like the previous bloke. But if sending to someone Infirm who doesnt want or cant go downstairs, then Id suggest to forget it.
Shame, thats part of the joy, the surprise. Thats taken away by useless delivery me as I have to ask " did anything arrive? do you recognise this pile of parcels theyve sent"

“We ordered a gluten and dairy free chocolate cake for a family member who is a coeliac AND lactose intolerant. We frequently find it difficult to find cakes that have a great texture and taste. The cake we ordered (which came on time too) had a great texture. The taste, due to the buttercream, was actually too sugary sweet. To combat this, we ate it with dairy free/regular custard and this made it perfect. The sponge itself was very, very good. Thanks Sponge! We may order again.”
