“Good choice of items however customer support is poor with slow (several days) or no reply to inquiries of where my items are. Has been over a week for my 1-2 day delivery which I paid extra for..”

“The skate deck I received was not the same colour on top as I expected or shown in the picture on website. I called up and was told they come in different colours and they send them out randomly. It was not obvious when I bought it online and didn’t feel it was satisfactory or dealt with well by staff member when I called up to discuss it”

“while there was an initial problem with actually shipping the board I ordered, that was resolved, however now that the board has arrived, there's an issue with the bushings in the trucks - on both trucks the bushings are bulging out and its causing for there to be one side of the board higher up than the other, so only 3 wheels are on the floor at a given time when resting. After skating on the board for a bit it seems like the bolt is just sinking further down and the bushings are bulging out more. The deck itself, hoever, is perfect and I love it.”

With brand new trucks this can often be the case for the first few skates, until the bushings in the truck wear in and loosen up. If you want tighter trucks we'd highly recommend upgrading the bushing to a harder bushing, to prevent the bulging you mention.

“Hello, I ordered 4 pairs of socks for my boys and besides having this order delivered in 2 shipments with the second one being delayed, I noticed the price tags on the socks showing a much lower price than the one I paid!! First time I buy a product and pay more online than I would in shop and also having this thrown in my face. The boys loved the socks.”

“Gripped a board that I asked not to be gripped, board came scratched and marked due to a lack of packaging which they claim is “standard” so I would not advise buying a wall hanger from here. Delivery was on time though.”

“I purchased a t-shirt and a hat but the hat was out of stock. I was adviced of that only when the parcel was already sent without beeing asked if i wanted to change the order. So i purchased a similar hat and paid a second shipment. Not very nice.”

“I shopped with u guys loads of times but the last order you lot Sold me stuff that u never even had left in stock then refunded me without asking if i still wanted the order without said item (which i hate). And to top it off my sticker was missing a £1 sticker which said to follow so i had to stay in two days to wait for a delivery of a £1 sticker Which I can't really beilive you guys shipped individually i mean did u think the one single sticker in a piece of plastic would survive heavy handed post handlers and couriers I don't mind that much since i just look for new and alternative stores and services that keep the service as high as the total amount of revenue i bring their way. But as i say unfortunately no surprise like my first visit to slam in person and four dudes where in a trance behind the counter shopsitting and giving us dirty looks as if we should never have bought our first decks from you guys. I dunno i suppose people who refer to them selves as skate rats truly are vermin? Philosophy is too deep for a review - next time fix up and get it right in one order or u aint getting my cash anymore. Simple Cheers”

“I ordered my things to be delivered to the east london shop, they had not arrived for the time I had arranged to collect them though and I had not been warned. The guys at the shop were super sound and apologetic about it but I still needed to come back the next day to collect.”

“My parcel hasn't yet arrived as it was sent back to Slam City due to issues with postage. As this recently happened to my boyfriend too (we both live in Jersey) I thought this may have been resolved by now internally. According to your couriers this is a problem with your side and not them. I am yet to get an email to say when they are being re-posted so it would be great to know when to expect them! That said, your customer service team were helpful and polite (even if they didn't reply within the time stated on your website). Hopefully in the future the same issues with postage won't keep occurring.”

“I ordered two things from the website and paid for them, a day or so later I was told one of the items was out of stock. That's rubbish. If something is on the system but not in stock then... On lots of websites I now get bombarded with slam city ads, get out of my face! Love what I did get and I love slam city and all misfit skaters but as an online experience it sucked balls :)”

“My experience with the online store has been good, there was confusion and contradicting emails sent regarding delivery times/delays etc, but a quick phone call soon sorted everything out, and the dude on the end of the phone, couldn't have been more helpful. ....just wish my experience with the staff in the Covent Garden store was similar. Just who the f**k is that cocky, rude, arrogant a*seh*le with the ginger beard? Seriously, that knob's costing you business and custom. I walked out, hooked up to the nearest Wifi (Costa's) and ordered direct from Flatspot, despite what I wanted being available in your store. I will not not shop in your CG store again.”
