The food was very good! Pity you were let down by DPD. The caption with the photo says ‘left on front porch’. This property does not have one! Laziness or incompetence - don’t know - but they certainly did not do the job!

I did have trouble order vouchers as it shoudo be clearer which is the restaruant voucher and which is the online shopping voucher if it needs to be seperate - why dont you do the same voucher to make it easier? The team were helpful though once I called - but a very confusiing website.

It was a nice meal but unfortunately the butter bean dish was very smashed so had leaked within the box- this was odd as there was no damage to either the box or other dishes . Also it was very difficult to find the instructions. Also some of the dishes didn’t taste quite so freshly made as in previous orders. So sorry but not a rave review

While we take great care in packaging, occasional breakages can still happen, even when there’s no visible damage to the box. We also appreciate your note about the instructions. Really disappointed with the short rib beef, came frozen- wasn’t expecting that and challenged some timings. But it was also, just too fatty. I know it is a fatty meat but this was bad, not enjoyable. The rest of the order was perfect as per usual.

We take customer service very seriously at Arabica - The customer service team work between Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, so someone will be in touch tomorrow to find out what was missing and resolve things for you. Thnaks for sending through the product. A quick note on 2 accounts: it was well-packaged to prevent the product being crushed, but perhaps didnt need so much packaging in this day and age of resources? Also, the dpd driver said he attempted to deliver. Strange. I was in all day as I was unwell, and no-one came to the door. It therefore meant I had to go to the local post office and queue for 1/2 hour to collect the parcel. Not quite door-to-door delivery service!

It’s a lovely idea. However, the quality of the food wasn’t great. It didn’t have much flavour and didn’t taste like the mezze that we’re used to. The baklava was nice.

An unexpected disappointment. The dips were better than our local Waitrose fare but were not for a restaurant. The lamb moussaka lacked flavour and huge let down. The baklava on the other hand were spot on best of the lot. We visit the restaurant in Borough Market from time to time and the food actually wonderful. The delivery service use to be great, but gone down hill. I suggest either go back to maintaning resto quality in the delivery or stop it altogether for the sake of the brand name.

The Vegan Feast was tasty by all accounts BUT no instructions included with the Kit, or ingredients list - or any paperwork, not even the postcard that I was told on the phone should be there. so therefore not suitable as a surprise gift. The recipient was gluten-free for health reasons so the ingredients list was crucial. My gift recipient had to go to the Arabica website for cooking instructions, where the prices are displayed - which isn't ideal for a gift. (Review under the name Mike Laverty - but purchaser is actually Frances Derbyshire)

This was the Lamb feast plus their Lebanese aged red Cinsault. Altogether not very impressive, except that the Hummus was excellent and the Baba Ganoush quitegood. The lamb stew was underwhelming and lacked the expected richness. The wine was quite drinkable, but not memorable.

Unusually not very good this time - squashed kibbeh and under weight halloumi which was made up of end pieces so we couldn't slice it as we wanted. No response from customer service and over all very difficult to get in touch with them. Disappointing this time.

We had the meat feast plus extras and the food was nice but not outstanding. Unfortunately the pickles and hummus were missing from the feast. Arabica have offered me a £10 discount for an order in the next 2 months in recompense, which is useless as we don’t want to buy this so soon again. Other meal providers have been much more reasonable when they have been problems.

Falafel turned out ok, better than I’ve done before. Not sure we needed the pot of tahini, would have preferred more hummus.

Shrunken Boreji! I’ve ordered home delivery food several times and thoroughly enjoyed. I was very disappointed to receive 2 Boreji at £16 each that were literally half the size previously ordered. Claiming to feed 4 to 6 there is scarcely enough for 2 people - they are the size of a tea plate. luckily the tapas looks as good I recall it so I will need to buy something in addition for our meal .

Order a large delivery kit for my sister birthday surprise , some boxes were cracked and food had spread on to a few packages this is the fault of the delivery company but no sure if box said handle with care. Have had a previous delivery but came with out damage. Disappointed ,informed provide on Friday so awaiting for reply

Dear Raj, Thank you for the lovely comments about the food. We are really sorry to hear that some of the packagings were damaged in transit. Despite us carefully packing every order with plenty of recycled shredded filler, on a few rare occasions, consignments are mismanaged by our third-party couriers. Order notification for 17/12 not 21/12 as requested: delivery not received until 18/12: numbers on photos in booklet differ to those in the text & on the various elements. Not great - so unplanned arrival means delayed preparation. It’s doubtful that we’ll return for further orders

Dear Michael, Sincerest apologies. We dispatched your order on time but our third-party couriers experienced several positive Covid cases that week and the combination of a surge in orders and a shortage of delivery drivers on the network impacted the service on that particular delivery date. One of the customer service team will be in touch on Tuesday 4th when they are back in the office to try and make up for the disappointment caused. The order arrived perfectly on time, the food was in superb condition, even down to the herbs and lettuce. The main meat and rice course was absolutely fine, but the starters were over-salty (except the hummus). I couldn’t finish the pickles because of the salt but that was just a very small element of the starter platter. Maybe that’s normal for Lebanese cuisine?
