About Arabica London:

For over two decades, we’ve roamed the fertile valleys, mountain villages, coastal towns, and bustling cities of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Turkey, and beyond—driven by a deep curiosity to taste, learn, and immerse ourselves in the region’s rich culinary traditions.

We’ve sought out artisanal producers in remote farming regions, savoured home-cooked Lebanese food, and lingered over time-honoured meze classics with arak in historic tavernas. From lively Middle Eastern restaurants and traditional Turkish grill houses to bustling modern eateries and entrepreneurial street food carts, every experience has shaped our approach to an extraordinary cuisine—bursting with flavour, colour, and texture, rooted in a connection that transcends borders.

Food is a universal language—a way to forge connections, preserve heritage, and create lasting memories. But at its heart, Arabica is about more than just food—it’s about people. It’s about the timeless ritual of gathering around a table to break bread, share stories, and celebrate traditions.

Arabica brings these flavours to life, offering a taste of the warmth, generosity, and spirit of the Eastern Mediterranean.

I always enjoy the food that Arabica provides. However, their distribution and communication leave much to be desired. They omitted items from my order. I emailed them about this, but have had no reply more than 24 hours later. Also, not for the first time, some items were damaged in transit. This is because of the flimsy packaging and poor packing.

One of the plastic tubs of food was broken so leaked all over the other items of food and wine. I have tried to contact customer services but have not heard back.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we sincerely apologise for the breakages you experienced. While we take great care in packaging our products to ensure they arrive safely, there are rare instances where damage can occur during transit. We understand how frustrating this must be. We truly value your business and appreciate your understanding as we work to make this right.

I'm sorry but the delay meant that the tabbouleh was past its best ...

Lovely food but the order was wrong. An item was missing and hence we were overcharged. 3 days on and still no response to my email which is disappointing.

Would not recommend. The food kit was a day late being delivered, the bread was mouldy, boxes were smashed, the tabbouleh had gone off and for £100 for four - six, it was way overpriced for the amount we got.

We are profusely sorry that your order wasn’t delivered by our third party courier on time. We were notified by DPD late on Friday afternoon that they had a huge issue and had lost over 50 consignments. Our team were still fathoming out which orders were delivered, damaged or lost until late yesterday afternoon. We take pride in what we do and take the upmost care to package products carefully with lots of shredded recycled cardboard. Despite our best efforts containers can get damaged from time to time when mishandled in transit. I appreciate the full refund doesn’t make up for the disappointment caused but we have tried our best to navigate this exceptionally unusual incident and we are very sorry some food was damaged in transit and delivered a day late.

Packaging: Some containers had broken in transit leading to oil covering almost every container. Very messy. Instructions: Some containers were labelled incorrectly and as a result didn't match the instructions. Had to figure out which was which by reading the individual ingredients for each item on the menu and matching them up that way. Experience: In the end the food was good and the suggested Spotify playlist was a nice experience. It would be nice for the price to have some extra pita bread or similar. Or at least a recommendation at takeout that more should be purchased. As it is there were a lot of dipping foods but not much to dip into them with. Having been through it once, I might order again in future since cooking will be easier now even without instructions. The cost will be a big factor though especially with the other letdowns.

Dear Shane, Thank you for taking the time to share your constructive feedback. We are profusely apologetic for the confusion caused with the mis numbering. We have conducted a full investigation and conducted a retraining session with newer team members to ensure this doesn't happen again. In relation to the damaged container, We take the upmost care to package products carefully with lots of shredded recycled cardboard but despite our best efforts containers get damaged from time to time when mishandled in transit by our third party couriers. One of the team will be in touch shortly and we hope your next order arrives in a perfect condition.

I sent two gift packets and was disappointed. First was for Hayes London which was delivered on June 09, 2022 instead of June 08, 2022 and it had no clue of the sender although I had given my name and address. Second packet was for Glasgow Scotland and was supposed to be delivered on June 08, 2022 but it has not been delivered so far and I have not been informed about the fate of this parcel. I used this service first time from Canada but highly disappointed. Please let me know the position. Sadly none of my email was responded.

The bread was superb. However the pickles were so salty you could not eat them.

All products are v good quality, however: 1. There was no baklava in our Lebanese beef meatball box 2. The box arrived pretty smashed up - of the packs inside the tabouleh was broken, though still edible Disappointed, as I filled in the "contact us" form on the website but I've yet to hear anything

Dear Anthony, Sincerest apologies about the missing baklava and the state in which your shipment arrived from our third-party couriers. We take care in packing every order with lots of shredded cardboard but from time to time the orders are mishandled in transit and the sharp edges of the ice packs shatter the containers on rare occasions. Rest assured nobody has ignored your email. The customer service team have all taken a few well earned days of annual leave after a very busy festive period. They finished after dispatching orders on the 29th and their first day back into the office is Tuesday 4th January. One of the team will be in touch on Tuesday to discuss the missing Baklava and damages. I hope you still managed to have an enjoyable new year meal. Warmest wishes James Founder

Food itself was good. However, please review the use of so many single use plastic containers. In this day and age there must be a way of less packaging generally and where possible using compostable materials.

This was the first time we ordered food online from Arabica. We pushed the boat out and ordered over £100 worth of food. Very disappointed when we opened the box to find that the supposedly "cool" packaging hadn't kept the food chilled at all. There were two small ice-blocks at the bottom of the box, so the food right next to them was still cool - but everything else was at room temperature. We popped it all straight in the fridge hoping it would be ok for that evening, but when we sat down to eat we discovered that the hummous and baba ganoush tasted off and had to be thrown away. V v disappointed, particularly given that when we have ordered meals from other places (e.g. Rick Stein) they have arrived in perfect condition. We won't be ordering again.

Dear Catherine, We try our best to provide an exceptional service and make every attempt to package the items very carefully with 3-5 ice packs depending on the size of the order but from time to time mistakes happen when the kitchen are packing hundreds of orders. We are equally disappointed to hear that a couple of your items didn't travel well and believe one of the customer care team have been in touch to generously refund you for those two items. We hope this may have restored a little faith in Arabica and you may be tempted to try us again some time. Kindest regards James

Not the “vibrant” flavours promised. Beetroot Labneh was nice but as with the Hummus, a supermarket bought one would have been just as good with a few additions of herbs etc. Kibbeh was inedible. I make better Tabbouleh. Portions were very in generous. The main of Beef was OK but very small portion for 2 people. I would not buy again or recommend

Mixed bag really. Some of this was lovely but in the main, it was overpriced and nothing spectacular. Ordered the vegetarian mezze but was overall pretty disappointing given the price. The aubergine kibbeh was dry, and the other parts of the meal were pretty underwhelming salads. The flatbread was, as described, generous - probably enough for 4 people, although it was far too big for our standard home oven. The dips were nice, but they were just dips. That being said, the halloumi was really good, and there were some great quality ingredients. It was easy to cook and assemble but at £45 it just felt a shade overpriced, particularly for a meatless meal. We also ordered some Turkish delight, which was lovely, and baklava which we couldn’t eat as the bread was enormous and very filling. I wouldn’t order the meal kit again but would definitely buy the Turkish delight in every flavour. It was all well packaged, fresh and delivered on time and kept cool.
