“Very well organised ordering and delivery. Spot on. Would have benefitted from some guidance on serving and heating where necessary. However, we figured it out and the food is fab.”

“Great service, packaged really well with easy to follow instructions. Delicious fresh ingredients and flavours. Starters were beautiful. The the lamb was very tender in the stew however the potatoes and squash were a bit too hard for my liking. Would love to try again but maybe with a different main course.”

“We had the seasonal Lebanese lamb feast this week. The mezes were wonderful, especially loved the baba ghanoush. However the lamb stew was very disappointing. We followed the instructions for cooking by simmering for the 25 minutes and although it was piping hot when served, we found that both the potato and the butternut squash were very undercooked! So we had to transfer it into a casserole dish, cutting up the potato and squash to speed cooking and then cook for another 15 minutes in the oven. The result was ok but not great and it didnt help that we had to wait about 30 minutes overall. I see from the reviews that a few others have had issues with the lamb stew, yes the sauce was more of a broth, but that was fine. We just think that the very large slice of squash and half of a large potato either needed more cooking before being sent or for us to be warned to check it before serving.”

“We ordered the lamb meal and some extra mezze and pitta. Lovely mezze, clear instructions in a nice format. Very pleased to be able to get outside of London. The lamb stew was really disappointing though- not sure if we did something wrong (we simmered in the bag for about 25 mins?) but the sauce was extremely water-y and flavourless: we just fished the lamb, squash and potato out. Maybe the recipe or instructions need revisiting? Sorry to end in a negative as the rest was great.”

We’re glad you enjoyed the food and appreciate you taking time to feedback your thoughts on the tabouleh portion. The vegetarian meze selection, includes a starter sized tabouleh (150g) , similar to what we serve in our restaurants. If you enjoy a larger helping of tabbouleh on a future occasion, we’d recommend ordering the fresh meze individually as you can customise the size of your favourite dips, salads and grains. One of the team will be in contact on Monday with a gesture of goodwill. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

“The meze dishes seemed smaller than I would have thought for the prices charged, though the flavours of the hummus, labneh and baba ganoush were excellent. The chicken and rice dish looks very brown and unappetising but I haven’t used it yet so can’t comment on the taste of that. The two filo lamb and spinach dishes had been squashed in the bottom of the box, the lids pressed unevenly into the pastry. They are in the freezer now after I straightened them out a bit but it looks as if the lids are firmly glued to the pastry. We will see. Not entirely a success I would say but good flavours in the dips.”

“There were a few issues in terms of DPD delivery, but Arabica handled the situation well. We enjoyed the food that wasn't damaged in the delivery. Really fun to try some different food!”

“Food was very moreish, I ordered the Vegetarian Meze, didn't seem like enough food for two but definitely was. presentation and instructions were clear and easy. Was probably a little pricey for two people but would get again on the odd occasion”

“Everything was delicious. Full of flavour and very fresh. Thank you. I would have been grateful for some guidance on how best to heat the flatbread. And in general would have liked a larger typeface on the instructions for those of us with deteriorating eyesight (the over 60s!)”

“We went for the 'Feast for Beirut'. Certainly a nice treat and infinitely preferable to a takeaway in these strange times! The meze was delicious, although the beef rib (whilst tasty) could have contained a little more meat, but was still good. And plenty of food (in the x2 kit) for a couple. Involves just the right amount of assembly/'cooking' to make you feel like you've earned your meal, without having to do too much! Would recommend for sure.”

“The delivery was as promised and the food was all nicely chilled. The cooking instructions were very clear. The mezze selection were all really good but we found the beef rib stew main course quite bland. The vermicelli rice and pittas were also very good.”

“Mezze were fantastic quality, babaganoush chunky & smoky, pumpkin and lamb kibbeh were a delight. Houmous was also wonderful with the additional beiruti mix. Our portion of beef short rib was a little lacking in beef, and too heavy on the dried lime (made it a bit bitter). Also hubbie had a massive thumb of ginger in his serve that he thought was a potato so was not pleasant to crunch down on. Instructions were very clear and everything beautifully packaged. Nothing extra needed.”

“Fantastic meze selection! Rice and dessert also great. Beef stew tasted ok but the lack of meat let it down - we managed to find 3 tiny pieces in it. Packaging and instructions fantastic.”

“Ordered the Vegan Meze which arrived on time and very well packed. there is a heck of a lot of packaging which is an issue, but not sure what else they can do to keep it all safe and secure. The pickles, hummus, baba ghanoush, muhammara, tabbouleh and spinach kibbeh, pitta and desert were all utterly delicious. The butternut squash and the magloubeh were a bit bland and uninteresting. Would definitely do it again but would stick to the cold starters and not the hot mains.”

“Arrived just when expected - beautifully packed with cold packs and instructions. Delicious dips with all the little extras like pomegranate seeds and parsley. We added a few extras to our order for the Meze feast and enjoyed a second meal the next night.”
