“Wow!! When my garage told me it wasn't worth fixing my car, he suggested trying to sell it for parts. He said I would probably get between £500 and £1000. I'm not a negotiator, so expected it to be the lower end. Did some searches and got quotes below £500. ScrapCarComparison sent me an email, asking I if I wanted to refine the details, either via phone or email. I chose email. They took the information I shared, called around, and within 30 minutes I had a firm offer for £825 from a salvage company. The guy on the phone was really helpful. Within an hour they'd booked a lorry to come the next day. Everything went as smooth as clockwork. That evening a deposit was paid as promised. The next day the lorry arrived, loaded up my car, helped with all the documentation, and by 6pm the balance for the purchase price was in my account. So quick and easy, a much better price than I was expecting, and I don't have a car cluttering up my drive for months while I dither about what to do with it (and it's value depreciates). Cannot recommend them more highly.”

“Very simple process and very pleased with the price and arrangements for disposing of a car that is a non-mover. Might have got a better price if I'd shopped around but, for a courteous, hassle-free and most efficient service, I'd have no hesitation in using SCC again.”
