“After buying a used Volvo XC90 a few months later a head gasket issue came to light that the previous owner had covered up. While devastated I have been sold a pup I could not knowingly pass it on leaving the only option to scrap the car. After shopping around the local scrap dealers and also Volvo specialists I went on Scrapcarcomparison. The very helpful representative took all my details and came up with a price that was far in excess of other quotes I had been given. The quote was accepted and I was contacted by the collection driver, he arrived at the correct time and after a quick inspection he confirmed the car was in the condition described by me. I was then contacted by a lady to confirm payment was in progress and she arranged for DVLA to be notified and said confirmation would be through from them in 5 minutes, it was correct and now my RFL will be refunded without any further input. Payment has now hit my account and I can say the whole process was excellent, many thanks.”
