“I have been a member for a few years now and as a very small, not for profit, I find membership and support to be invaluable. I follow their recommendations and use and modify the available free (to members) templates, policies and good practice guides. These would personally take me ages to develop. I use the access to the Excellence in Safeguarding’ process and certification as a tool for internal quality improvement and as an external, objective measure of our commitment to safeguarding. This is well received by stakeholders who deserve to know the children and at risk adults that we work with are safe.”

“Simple Q&A system, but perhaps the information could be presented in a more accessible format. I have some staff members with dyslexia who found the reading quite cumbersome. Last time we did this course with you we had a short Zoom session with a live trainer who could explain the information. I assumed I was booking the same again but that's probably my mistake! Pre-recorded videos with some of the information (rather than just an intro) could really help, I think. Thank you though!”

Hello Sam and thank you for your feedback. We thought it worthwhile mentioning that screen readers (including NVDA, which is free) have been tested on our courses by a visual impairment charity and found to work well. It's likely this would also overcome the problems for people with dyslexia.
