They break your stuff and say it was broken to begin with, they lost half of the screws to my 6 year old daughters large bunk bed and just propped it up making out it was all safe for my daughter to get in to bed that night, I climbed up to make my daughters bed and the whole thing fell apart. When I phoned the manager told me the bed was already without half the screws and the men did the best with what they had...... ( the bed was only months old and was put together by dreams beds when we purchased it just months before this lot got their grubby hands on it.) had I let my daughter climb up there herself it could have killed her... Not to mention the scratchs all over the side of my American fridge freezer ( once again leaving the scratched side against the wall so not to be seen. They have since cut contact with us refusing to fix their horrible service. They are con men claiming to be professional. The men they sent Bearley spoke English and the management was just as bad.!!PLEASE BEWARE!!

Dspite previous arrangements the guys turned up 1 hour late saying thats what they were told. I was supposed to travel in the van with my cat (again prearranged) Driver said no. Manager called and said they should only for driver to refuse after another hour claiming he was now allergic to cats. Luckily a very kind driver took over and got me to Cornwall but it was so stressful I would not recommend you.

Do not use this company. They won't brief your movers accordingly with what you need. I send my ikea receipt to them with all the items that needed to be assembled and unfortunately they didn't send the right guys who could actually do it. 1. I asked for wardrobe boxes - we had to wait until they delivered them 2. I asked for all my new furniture to be assembled - the wardrobes weren't done at the end of the day 3. The movers were shocked when they came into the house because they didn't know what they were meant to do and spent hours on the phone trying to sort out the problem while my auntie, dad and myself took all the boxes out of the truck otherwise it would have taken too long. The movers weren't the problem but the actually people taking the call and not briefing them properly on the job.

I called them a month before I moved for a quote which was a good one Brett came round and said I would need just one van but have 2 as a cover so that nothing would be left behind . They arrived early and started to load up. The house was a big one but most of our furniture was smashed up and taken away before they came to move us everything went into the vans. Two young guys did the move they were ok. We left after them at 3pm. The men started to complain that the job should have been for 4 men and not 2. Anyway we arrived and they unloaded quickly and went. That's when we noticed that all was not well on the journey down certain things had legs and started to walk. I had loads of things go missing cheque books tv my badge ids money diaries indoor phone Just disappeared so I called in the next day and explained that we have things missing the chap on the other end of the phone didn't even care all he said was the guys had worked 14 hrs and they didn't have enough men .i said that's not my fault it's yours I asked him to get Brett to call me. He didn't These people are light fingered and not to be trusted everything left my house I checked every room myself so how did it go missing. When I didn't drive the van. I will never use these people again. I now have to inform the police as my badge- identifiers can be sold on and used by someone else Chris london

We are a professional company with over 400 employees. We booked the removals to relocated our offices from one central London location to another. All went fine, until they smashed one of our televisions, whilst moving it. We purchased insurance to cover any damage costs and to this date they have ignored my emails and phone calls to proceed with our claim to replace the television. I received the claim form from Elizabeth at Safe Removals and after this they have ignored all correspondence and calls. This company cannot be trusted. I highly recommend you avoid at all costs. If they break something of your property you will lose out. DO NOT USE THEM!

I do not understand how this company has received such good reviews. I booked them for my move last Friday at 11:00am. On the Thursday afternoon I phoned to confirm the booking. The gentleman was very pleasant and reassured me that all was in order. At 11:20am on Friday when they had not arrived I called to enquire. I was told that they were not coming as the driving was ill. I asked them why they did not call to let me know this and their response was just 'sorry'. I was put in a terrible position as the sale of my property was going through that day. I was just lucky enough to find another removal company to come out and save the day. If you are looking for a reliable removal company, do NOT use Safe Removals.

Avoid at all costs. Had booked and then let down two days before causing all sorts of stress. Do yourself a favour and book a professional company instead.

The initial experience with Safe Removals was good. I made an online enquiry and was then contacted to ask if an estimator could visit our property to ensure the price quoted was accurate etc. The man arrived and walked around the whole house with myself and my partner and subsequently we were sent a quote a few days later via email which was competitive. I agreed to the price and dates and that is where the problems arose. On the day of the move the van arrived an hour late but this could have been overlooked. On arrival the men began to load the van with our boxes, leaving the furniture until last. Around two and half hours into the loading we were told by one of the men that the van they had was too small and would not accommodate all of our goods. I then got a phone call from the office to ask why there wasn't enough room, strange question for a "professional" removal firm to ask a customer when they have been put and seen the house and its contents. I informed them that actually since the move we had thrown away two sofas and numerous other items so there was in fact, less than when the man came to do the estimate. I was then informed I would have to pay an extra £200.00 for another van which angered me greatly considering this was not my error. Myself and my partner were already short on money and as such couldn't afford to pay this, however the removal company now had half of our belongings in their van and we had to move out that day so were stuck. The office then told me that if I was to pay the total amount including for the extra van I could pay cash in hand to the drivers and they would not charge me VAT which I had no option but to accept. Because we were moving to Devon and had to meet the new landlady at the property we couldn't wait around for another van and so my mother waited at the property with our two your children for the second van which we were told would take around 30 minutes, this was at 11:30, while we set off for Devon. The second van kept getting "stuck in traffic" and despite being told many times over the phone that the van was just around the corner, it didn't arrive until 6pm, meaning my mother was waiting at the house for over 6 hours with two young children. She then informed the men what was to be packed and what was to be left and gave them a set of keys to lock up and put through the letter box and then set off for Devon herself. The first van hat had packed our things arrived at around 9pm at the new property and said they had run out of diesel so I had to drive 30 minutes to the local village to buy them a can of diesel. My mother and the children arrived at around 10 pm and because all the furniture had been left by the first van, we had no beds at all so had to put the children to sleep on our only sofa. The second van arrived at just before 1am the next morning and the guys were in such a rush to unload it they damaged numerous pieces of furniture including a lot of our nursery furniture for our baby which is shortly arriving. The boxes and furniture were dumped for want of a better word in any downstairs room they could find space, I myself had to unload and help carry the heavy items as one of the men couldn't lift anything heavy. The service included for dismantling and reassembling at the new house however all the furniture which has been dismantled was left in the new house that way, including the boys beds which meant they had to sleep on a mattress on the floor in our room and I had to reassemble their beds the next day. They took cash upon leaving and although I have been promised a receipt numerous times, I still have not been given one! We also realised the next day that my partners bedroom dressing table was missing, which was a family antique. I contacted the company the following day to explain how bad the service had gone and that items had been damaged and gone missing and was told they were looking into it and would come back to me. Since then I have sent around 10 emails and made phone calls and been completely ignored. This company has a very professional looking website and customer service initially but when it comes to the actual running of it, it is a shambles, a true micky mouse operation. To provide such a bad service is one thing, but to then completely ignore someone afterward is shameful.

Awful experience. Safe Removals moved us from one flat to another a couple of weeks ago. They damaged the walls in the new flat, took cash without providing any receipt and run away. We then tried to contact the company multiple times by email and by phone with no luck. When we finally managed to get through and had someone on the phone who called himself Arek, the manager, he claimed that the damages existed before they came and they had nothing to do with these damages. He then told us that he had no time to continue this discussion, and hanged up the phone. I would advise anyone not to use the services of this 'company'. We are also contacting now HMT tax division to inform them about the practices of this company to take cash from customers without providing any receipt.

My mother used them to pack and store her house whilst she had some renovation work done. Items were returned broken, some items were missing and she even received items which weren't hers! 8 weeks after delivery date we are still trying to find out how they are going to sort out the breakages and replace the lost items. They keep promising to provide us with their insurance details but no joy to date. We have written several times, but haven't had any replies either. Stay away - don't trust them.
