“The practical part of the course was excellent and I really felt that I had learned a lot and that I would be more confident with any first aid I might be called on to give. The theory part was less good. 1. Some of the questions were not precise enough - how bad was that burn from a cup of tea for example. 2. It would be nice to have idea of the length of time it would take before one started. 3. If one gets a question wrong in the test, it would be helpful to know which question it was and to have a chance to revisit that section, otherwise it’s a useless exercise from a learning point of view.”

“I found the first aid course to be very well delivered, with all information delivered in a structured way with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and plenty of opportunity to practice techniques. If there was one way I think it could improve it would be to provide a link to an online resource containing the same information delivered in the course so that participants have the opportunity to go back over what they have leant to further absorb everything.”
