“The course was really informative and helpful. I feel more confident to use my new skills. The group was small and the informal nature of the first aid course made it more enjoyeable.”

“Allen was an excellent teacher - very torough in what he taught and he delivered it very calmly and reasurringly. I feel now confident in my abilities to assess and manage the various situations that might occur. His real life stories kept our engagement in the session high and was great in demonstrating the skills in more realiastic scenarios.”

“A very knowledgeable and approachable, friendly course leader. However, no visual aids or outline of course structure. Easily thrown off course by chat about non-course matters, making some sections unfocused and rambling. Would have benefitted from a tighter approach to the structure and consideration taken for the school setting in which certain areas arise more often and would have been better to spend more time on.”
