“I purchased a 6 month subscription as a gift for my mother’s birthday. The process was really straightforward and clear, with lots of information of how it would work and when it would arrive. The first book arrived exactly when stated, and my mum was delighted! Beautifully wrapped, a great choice of book and a couple of little extras (such as a bookmark!) that made it seem special. Could not recommend more highly!”

“I discovered Rare Birds Book Club during Stylist Live London in 2019 and signed up for a three months membership. I enjoyed so much that I renewed it for 6 more months and also gifted it to a friend for her birthday. She’s loving it too. Being a member made me read books that I wouldn’t usually choose myself and I am enjoying these literary discoveries very much. The readers forum is also great if you want to read others’ opinions about the books and express yours. Sadly I didn’t use it much as I’m a few months behind with the reading. Yet I love checking the comments once I’m done with a book. Books arrive packaged beautifully with a lovely bookmark. Strongly recommended!”

“I love this service. I’ve been subscribed for nearly a year now and I’ve never received a book I didn’t enjoy. I really like that I get to try books I might not necessarily choose for myself. There’s also been plenty of months where I could choose between the 2 books on offer and bought them both. It’s like a nice little present to myself every month. The customer service is excellent as is the packaging. I really recommend this service to anyone interested in reading in any capacity.”

“I love the Rare Birds Book Club! It’s a little treat every month 😊 The books are always really good quality and fabulous reads - I love the function to select a book based on the 2 given blurbs. The discussion board is also a great extra, it’s really lovely to read others responses and thoughts on the books once I’m done reading.”

“I toyed with the idea of joining RB for ages before I took the plunge. I’m 2 months in and already love it! I like the anticipation of what book will be popping through my letterbox and although I do love my kindle, nothing beats an actual book. Love the cute wrapping and bookmark too - makes it feel extra special! Books so far have been excellent.”
