QDOS Breakdown is an emerging force in the motor breakdown and vehicle recovery market. We are also known as QDOS Rescue Services and are a trading style of QDOS Insurance Services, who has operated as an insurance intermediary since 2007. We started selling breakdown cover on the internet in February 2011 and have never looked back.

“I found that the terms and conditions in relation to buying the insurance less than 10 days before a trip was not absolutely clear. I was worried that we would not be covered in the UK on our way to the ferry, so I had to ring to check. The other stipulation about buying more than 2 days before a trip is not very helpful to people living close to Eurotunnel and ferries in Kent. We often book at very short notice for a day trip or short break and this rules out using QDOS. We also are not always sure which vehicle we will take for a holiday until close to the time so do not want to book too far ahead!”

“I have recently taken out breakdown cover. It cost more than my previous cover with another well known company i used for many years. But a few months ago i had my first ever call to them to say that my battery went flat and i was charged about £97.00 because this is not covered in the policy. I have now went with QDOS as they seem to tick all the boxes with straight forward cover.”

“Easy to purchase online. Lots of details on the Web Pages. Unfortunatly in the Policy documents, there is no details of what is actualy coverd (downloaded version) ie: Punctures, Flat batteries, Key problems etc. Hopefully, I will not have to use the service, but - Peace of mind!”

“The breakdown policy is very easy to buy online and is a good price but have not had the opportunity to put it to the test as I haven't broken down as yet. I have renewed the policy for the second year. Hence only putting 'good' for my rating. I don't feel able to comment on the full service offered by QDOS.”
