QDOS Breakdown is an emerging force in the motor breakdown and vehicle recovery market. We are also known as QDOS Rescue Services and are a trading style of QDOS Insurance Services, who has operated as an insurance intermediary since 2007. We started selling breakdown cover on the internet in February 2011 and have never looked back.

“This is the second year I have re-newed with Qdos. I have two vehicles insured for breakdown with Qdos. I have broken down twice both times they despatched a Breakdown service which arrived within 1 hour. The Qdos staff are very helpful and the Breakdown service was excellent. I would not go back to any other Breakdown service. In my experience and I'm on the road every day all day, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Quality and Value are both present here which is very rare !”

“2015/16 is the second year I've used QDOS. Earlier in 2015 I needed a breakdown service for the first time in about 20 years. The phone service was good and the breakdown van/lorry turned up in about 1 hour [during the evening rush hour]. They fixed the problem OK.”

“The online purchase was easy and quick. The price is great partly due to a limit on the call outs, I am assuming. This is fine as I have never had to use any breakdown service in over 40 years of driving so I would have to be extremely unlucky to have to use it for more than six times. Therefore, I am unable to comment on this aspect of the service.”

“I have used QDOS on repeated trips to the continent.This last time we needed them!! Breakdown arrived within 30 mins!! Towed to Mazda garage and awaited a part delivered the next day.we were found a hotel.Taken and picked up the following morning at 0800.We were on our way at 0830. Our only gripe would be the few mins it took to speak to an adviser.The questions we had to answer before our situation was explained-ie colour of car,manual etc,we found annoying-The vehicle does not change colour or its type of transmission or indeed its number of seats during the holiday!! We did like the fact that once we were in the system there did seem to be somebody that cared about our progress Our claim for Hotel expenses was settled without delay.No other expenses were inured by ourselves.We would have no hesitation in recommending QDOS again.Thanks,Tim and Jill”

“Bought breakdown cover for 1 month trip to France. Thankfully didnt have need of it, but was pleased I had it for peace of mind. Online purchase was relatively painless & affordable, but as I had no need to make a claim cannot comment on claims process etc.”

“Called them out twice last year. Arrived within 1/2 hr. Clutch failure on first call. only 67000 on clock. 2nd call out with engine management fault, garage took 3 days to sort. Very pleased that they were able to locate me by my directions, no road numbers required. Good customer service with the recovery drivers. Recovered to the garage of my choice. Would Award 5 stars for policy price & breakdown Response.”
