QDOS Breakdown is an emerging force in the motor breakdown and vehicle recovery market. We are also known as QDOS Rescue Services and are a trading style of QDOS Insurance Services, who has operated as an insurance intermediary since 2007. We started selling breakdown cover on the internet in February 2011 and have never looked back.

“Buying single trip breakdown cover abroad isn't cheap, but QDOS is A LOT cheaper than Green Flag. Purchasing online was a simple enough process. The real test can only be if I have to use this insurance while abroad - which, naturally, I hope not to have to discover!”

“Like all breakdown cover insurance, it's only as good as you find it on the day you need to use it. I did however buy my Euro cover from QDOS based on other reviews which seemed very good. Fortunately I never needed to use it during a recent European road trip so I can't comment from personal experience but the price was good and there didn't appear to be too many off putting bits in the small print. This is the second time I've taken out European breakdown insurance with QDOS and I see no reason not to use them again.”

In my opinion the one thing that would get them up to 5 stars rather than the 4 I have given, would be an app to use if you breakdown, several companies now offer these location apps for your phone.”

“You have created a great concept with a one call out recovery plan. This means that you can not be takenadvantage of on the one hand making your risk very low and refelecting it in your low premium but you can offer a servioce to people like myself who maintain their older cars well, can certainly change a tire if necessary, ( and virtually never have a breakdown) and do not expect ever to need a call out but do want the assurance that in the rare singular event that I do brakdown - you will be there, It is a great product and you have insulated your risk. I intend to come back next year too !”

“It's hard to write a positive review for buying something intangible and that you hope you never have to use. Positives are it is simple to purchase and competitively priced. Certificate are available to print almost instantly. I just hope that I don't need to use breakdown/recovery.”
