“Okay, the order process and delivery is fine. I used a reduced shank HSS 14mm drill to go through a 4mm steel door, I needed to drill 6 holes. After two, the drill was basically blunt. Had to use another drill I happened to have. So not convinced by the quality.”

“I was delighted to discover a web coy. that specialised in selling twist drills, and delighted that one could purchase specific sizes like 3/16, 1/4 inch. I was less delighted to discover that the packet of 1/4 drills said 6.4mm (I think) = 1/4. While it made no difference to me now, it would have when I was constructing aircraft, and the diameter of aircraft bolts are made to precise tolerances. For example a 1/4 inch or 'E' bolt's shank is 1/2 thou. below 1/4 inch. Otherwise I was delighted with speed of service and range of drills.”

“I am a builder by trade an use a variety of different drill bits in a wide range of sizes an as usual need to keep an eye on cost I have purchased from UK drills before but through a auction site . This time I went straight to them for masonry drill bits and I ordered lots of different sizes and even different lengths all in all for the price of one Makita bit in my local builders merchants I was able to purchase 10 bits in total . I have used all but one size and can honestly say they perform amazingly and for the price even if you only used them for that job it would still be great value however they are still going strong and in future I will order all my drill bits from UK Drills”
