“The box the chainsaw came in was not completely sealed, and the spanner that was supposed to be with it was missing. Other than that the process was simple and straightforward.”

“Never received any tracking info , had to make two phone calls to find out at what stage my delivery was at,, box item was sent in seemed to have been opened and taped up again? Item itself was a battery grease gun, has grease in the chamber, maybe this is normal, ? Tool looks good , I still have to use it ,, Liam.”

“Service was prompt and good arrived in time. My only concern is that the good arrived in a box not matching what I ordered. As the Dewalt battery and charger are a present I was shocked to find them inside a Milwaukee M18 fuel red box. Makes it look second hand”

“Pleases with price/delivery of Bosch gal 18v 160c Meant to be new my only disappointment was receiving item in a DeWalt outer box. Not used yet but appears complete but why was it packed in an unrelated box??”

Dear Mr Lovett We try at all times to reuse all packaging that we have in the warehouse. Customers ask us daily to make up bespoke kits where we have to draw machines from various kits together. In this process we then have spare parts of kits plus outer wraps and boxes that we then recycle and use to protect product left over from kit builds. In doing this we do not waste anything allowing us to keep our prices as keen as possible hence your pleasure in the price and delivery of the charger. I will have a chat with the guys to see if we can at least match piece parts to manufacturers boxes but as you might imagine the guys are concentrating in packaging for safe transit in the shortest time possible Thanks for your business and the time taken to drop us this review to point us in the right direction Regards Lumsden Director Power Tools UK

“I purchase tools prefeably from any uk based supplier I find that can supply them at a reasonable price. Power Tools UK had the particular drill bits I needed, so they got my order, with a 2 working day courier delivery added on. After 2 working days the courier confirmed receipt and after the weekend the items were delivered onbdsy# 3. When I pointed this out customer service denied the existence of a 2 working day delivery service. This despite my communication including my order confirmation clearly stating 2 working days. I protested but was ignored, instead and ironically receiving an invitation to write a review!! I received the goods in time for them to be used as planned, but that is not the point. A 3 working day delivery should have cost less than I paid.”

Dear Mr Wise Many thanks for taking the time to explain in detail exactly what happened from the customer side. We are in error on this one for a couple of reasons and I have already taken steps to address the after sales service issue. We should have shipped Thursday for delivery Friday, for some reason we missed Thursday deadline and shipped Friday for a Monday delivery stretching the delivery time further. I have looked at the warehouse loadings for the 5th and cannot give an explanation for the missed Thursday shipment. Dear Mr Warren We are concerned about your comment regarding responding to our request for feedback and possible duplication we are unaware of. Our system works on a request for review, one per order, some 5 days after the order is placed on our system and importantly cannot be duplicated once a customer has been good enough to respond. Having cross-checked our systems in case you placed more than one order recently, we can only see the order placed on the 18th September 2023 responded to with comments about duplication. Also we cannot see any information left by you through our REVIEW.IO dashboard, as this is the only channel we use to request feedback could you be mistaken and have responded to another supplier using the same style of software to request a review?. The positive outcome of this is your comments only relate to feedback and not to the quality of goods or levels of service from us which is great from our side. We hope this gives you some useful information regarding your feedback and our system. Many thanks for your business and time taken to respond, we hope that we may be given the opportunity to serve in the near future. Please remember to register your machines directly with the manufacturer to receive a further 2 years free warranty, this must be completed within 28 days of the invoice date Regards Power Tools UK

“Tool is excellent, don’t mind paying for delivery. But when the currier only offers to try redelivery mid week when I’m all work or pick up from depot that is 45mins away. Don’t think it’s worth the hassle as it’s cost me more in fuel.”

“Product is just what I wanted just the delivery let it down. Parcel force instructed not to leave with a neighbour so delivery was missed twice. Once collected from the depot the saw was hanging out the packaging. If it wasn’t for the fact I needed it desperately I would have sent it back.”

“Should be 2.5 stars. Good prices. Not ecstatic about having to pay postage on orders that are over £100. And what let the service down most is having placed an order on the weekend and full payment having been taken. I was contacted on the Monday to let me know there was no stock of what I had ordered and wouldn’t be available for a further 5 to 7 working days. And the website still said in stock. A bit disappointing. So good service let down by their stock system.”

“Usually the service is excellent, however, my recent order still hasn't arrived. I had a notification from the courier company on Monday which had an incorrect address on it so I emailed Power Tools UK straight away so they could contact the courier company to rectify but have had no goods and no correspondence from either the courier or Power Tools UK. I have sent a further email today requesting a response and confirmation that replacements are being sent but not yet had a reply!”

“It shows in the picture a 6ah battery which is a bit misleading. Its only after I received it and read the description on the page that it comes with a 2ah battery. Like i said quite misleading”

Dear Mr Eaton Many thanks for pointing out that we have the wrong picture of the battery on our hero picture, I have taken steps to correct this mistake in order that we show the machine, charger and battery correctly for others. Fortunately for us all other details throughout the page clearly stated that the machine was supplied with a 2Ah Milwaukee battery and it was just the picture where the error appeared. “Cheapest place that held current stock of the item I wanted, not the cheapest though. Quote slow to dispatch… 3 days, then parcel force sent it the wrong way, so took a while to get here, although 48hr postage was paid for.”
