Said in stock when ordered but wasn't so they refunded. Just added delay into my life. Was a pointless transaction really. Probably should advertise product they cant fulfil

I would love to write a review of the product but as I have seen hide nor hair of it this would be a bit difficult !. The tool looks very nice in your picture.

Dear Mr White We e-mailed you on the 22nd November to inform you that we were temporarily out of stock and our best shipping date using an overnight service was week commencing the 28th November. We shipped your order yesterday, the 28th November on an express overnight service as promised, I have the tracking history and it confirms that you personally received the shipment at 13.19pm today 29th November. We informed you of our best delivery and kept exactly to that schedule, I have no understanding why you, ahead of clear delivery information supplied, leave us a crap review about not receiving your goods Regards Lumsden Director Power Tools UK

Box shown in listing clearly has nothing in it that’s why I ordered three they sent one as listed and two with divides in for various tools obviously clearing out the boxes that no body wants I now have to cut out all the useless divides to make the boxes any use poor service bit of a con

Prices have been competitive (hence 2 stars). Delivery is slow compared to competitors. Both products have been faulty in some way and have needed to be sent back to the manufacturer by me. Power Tools UK helped with a link to organise the return with the manufacturer, but by way of comparison, during a similar experience with ITS, they just sent me a new tool and collected the old one from site the next day. I was inconvenienced for perhaps 4 working hours.

Ordered boots over a week ago , hadn't heard anything from them . Had to ring up their offices and was told someone would get back to me , they didn't. Had to ring again and was told my boots would be leaving that day , still not had a confirmation yet.

Good afternoon David First can I thank you for choosing to place your business with us at Power Tools UK, and taking time to drop us a review regarding shipping the machine to you. You are of course correct in the statement that you should have received the shipment of Friday 30th September instead of Saturday 1st October. I downloaded the full tracking report on this one and the Trunker was late getting into Aberdeen Depot from Edinburgh, does not explain why, at 8.18am missing the delivery vans that had already left for the Friday deliveries in outer areas. Frustratingly your machine lay in central Aberdeen for 24hrs before the vans again left on Saturday 1st October when you received the machine 24hrs late Apologies for any inconvenience caused with this late delivery, I have instructed our c/control department to refund the cost of the carriage on this occasion Regards Lumsden Stuart Director Power Tools UK

Slightly authoritarian sales assistant on the telephone was very off putting. I cannot understand why you cannot place an order with a credit card with a different address to where you want the order to go. All other companies do this, what has fraud prevention got to do with anything? Unlikely to purchase through them again. Extortionate delivery charges as well.

Good Morning Wendy Following on from your review of our company I would like to try and answer some of your criticism, hopefully that may go some way to explain some of the steps we take to secure all our customer transactions. Due to banking step-up of credit card security through two way certification of any transaction conducted through a website we are no longer able to take telephone payment as we do not have access to some of your security information required to complete manually. This also partly explains why we, with many other companies, no longer delivering to 3rd party private addresses, however as you would have been aware when placing your order with us, we do offer a 3rd party business address as an alternative drop point. Regarding the £5.75 + vat logistics charge that you detail as extortionate, we clearly show that all orders carry a basic carriage charge throughout the site, there is no such thing as carriage free, it is either built into the price of the goods or shown as a separate charge. I am at somewhat of a loss why you would place your business for a pair of Buckler Rigger Boots with us if you felt so strongly about a £5.75 charge when there are at least 6 other Buckler stockists on the internet? I hope that this explanation might go someway to answering your criticism of our company and security methods of safe trading. On a more positive note the Rigger Boots purchased are superb high quality waterproof footwear that will give professional service over the coming months and years Regards Lumsden Director Power Tools UK

Ordered a MAKITA DLM432PG2 LAWNMOWER which included 2x 6Ah batteries and charger and was priced at ~£338 inc vat on website only to receive an email the next day to say that they were “unable to fulfil the requirements of the order”. Obviously a mistake was made in the pricing as this item has now shot up in price to ~£459. It would have been nice for Power Tools UK to acknowledge that this was their mistake, honour the listed price and rectify their website listing. Prompt refund though and bought the same item from elsewhere.

Good morning Mr Butcher I appreciate the time you have taken to respond to our request for feedback. On returning to work following a few days off last week I have investigated this matter to clarify what happened to the order from start to finish, and what we may learn for ourselves and the satisfaction of future customers. The order for a pair of size 8 Buckler Boots was received on the 24th May, we e-mailed you on the 26th informing you that Bucker had informed us that our June stock order would not be with us until this week. Due to the delay in delivery, we offered a full refund or delivery at the earliest opportunity week beginning the 6th June. As it turned out we ran late on our standard delivery schedule but did improve on the original projected delivery date, delivering the boots to you on the 4th of June, but did in the meantime trigger a major error in requesting a review before the boots were delivered We normally get the machines and accessories we offer the trade delivered well in advance of the review request, apologies that we got ahead of ourselves on this occasion. I hope that although a few days late you might agree with me that you purchased a superb pair of Buckler Boots that will serve you well for years to come. Item was "in stock" on site but had to chase delivery and was informed not in stock. Then when did ship the price on the site had gone down but I still paid the old higher price.

Unit was not new package was already opened and scratches and signs of use - kept because too much effort to return - otherwise in working condition.

Dear David I am disappointed that you have to report that the Bosch Impact Driver you received was not in first class condition. As you will be aware from the documentation this machine was cross checked by both the picker and the packer before dispatch, hence the reason the box had been opened by warehouse staff. All machines supplied to the trade are first generation original manufacturers stock, why you are reporting "scratches and signs of use" I am at a loss to understand as everything comes directly from Bosch in bulk. It is always disappointing to receive such feedback as we try at all times to give the trade full value for money supplying fully traceable machines that can be registered for extended warranty directly with the manufacturer Thanks for taking time to register this feedback, the staff read all reviews placed about their company, I will have a discussion with the warehouse guys about this during our next meeting at the end of the week Regards Lumsden Stuart Director Power Tools UK

Wrong item sent which then made the process to replace a lot longer which caused my work day to be more awkward using 110v drills and leads everyday. No compensation shown for this. Friendly staff when replacing was the good part.

Hi Mr Davies Apologies for the transit problems, I have looked into our logistics logs and cannot give any explanation on this occasion. We occasionally have a shipping problem, if nothing else due to the large number of shipments we make per day, but this is no excuse to the customer affected. Terrible service, tools are good value but service in very bad. Ordered 800 pounds worth of tools i needed for a job, tools said 4 days delivery so i left about 8 days to the job for delays. Called 7 days later asking about my order as had not received it yet to find that they had forgot about it and it hadnt eveb been sent yet. I had emailed them aswell on day 5 asking but never got a reply. Im still waithing on the tools now and im down tools on this job having to make do with what i have and borrow. I understand people under pressure with covid19 but i feel like i gave more than enough space for that with 8 days for delivery. Not very happy with the service.

Hi Ronan Not sure where you are getting your recall from as I have looked into your information and find this review has some glaring errors. You placed a substantial Milwaukee order at 4pm on Sunday 8th November, we picked it up on Monday 9th and e-mailed you at 11.44am regarding the delivery address as it was shown as exporting to the Republic of Ireland with your card address in Shropshire England. Some 5 days later Friday 13th November we received an answer by e-mail confirming where you were working at the time (ROI) and the price of local tools being to expensive against what we could produce the package for. Following confirmation from you on the Friday we shipped the goods next working day Monday 16th November to Tipperary by DPD International Service delivered safely and intact to the address requested 48hrs later. We act at all times to make sure that our customers receive a fully secure service from us, we actually worked on the order for 2 working days, including the shipping day, during the period from the 8th through to delivery some 10 days later. 2 days were weekends, 2 days were transit days, the rest of the time was waiting for further information from you the customer. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused out with our control and feel that your comments do not represent the facts regarding your Milwaukee business with us Regards Lumsden Director Power Tools UK
