“My experience in Greece was absolutely incredible! The staff were so kind and accommodating making every task super fun and engaging. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to travel and meet new people, it was amazing!”

“I had the best trip. The experience was incredible and I feel so lucky to have done it with such amazing people. It was run so well. I loved how we had lots of different activities to do for the volunteering aspect whilst also being able to enjoy lots of time to relax and have fun in the sea. I really enjoyed being able to go into town in the evenings!”

“I did Pod Volunteer’s Turtle and Wildlife Conservation project in Costa Rica, and it was absolutely amazing. Along with working with the wildlife, you learn so much about the local ecosystems. The team was very knowledgeable and so supportive. Outside of volunteering hours we were also able to visit beautiful beaches, slide down a waterfall, go snorkelling, explore the mountains on ATVs and visit a coffee farm. It was a truly unforgettable experience. I can’t recommend it enough! Pod volunteer made organising the trip extremely easy and were very helpful with any questions or concerns you have both before you go and while you’re there.”

“I really loved this project! It was so easy to get there with all the support and all of us received such a warm welcome. I really learnt a lot on this trip and all the activities were so much fun! I feel like I have made so many long lasting friendships and will remember the trip forever! The volunteers were so friendly and approachable and made the trip the most fun 🤩 I would definitely use POD volunteering again!”

“I had the most amazing week doing turtle and marine conservation in Greece with pod volunteer. I thought the trip was really well organised and the leaders were so helpful. The volunteer work was very enjoyable and it was so special seeing the turtles and being in Greece. It was a really good balance of free time and doing shifts. I thought the presentations were really interesting and I learnt a lot about turtles and their habitats. It was such a great opportunity to meet so many new people and I will remember it for the rest of my life!!”

“I really enjoyed my week in Greece with Pid Volunteer, it was amazing to make so many new friends and memories. “I enjoyed the trip a lot. The activities we did along with the new people I met made the trip a lot of fun and an experience I won’t forget. One area of improvement I can suggest is the range in food. I understand you can only offer what the campsite, however I would have liked a bigger range in food at lunch to fuel me for the rest of the day. That is the only negative I can think of, the food for dinner was perfect as there was a big selection.”

“Pod Volunteer were impressive from beginning to end. Alex was amazing - the correspondence with him with responsive, informative, helpful and caring. I knew exactly what to take, where to go and when I was expected. At the reserve, everyone was very welcoming and friendly, which really helped as I was on my own. I was able to do all of the activities and learnt a lot. A particular highlight, for which I felt very fortunate, was when we released some baby turtles, and found a nesting mother in the same night! It was an amazing experience and I would love to do something similar in the future.”

“We had an amazing time at the Playa Tortuga Reserva. So many memories made and stories to tell. The team were very friendly and informative. I wish we had known that you had to be 13 to do the turtle patrols before we arrived but otherwise the information helped us to prepare.”

“POD volunteer were so great at organising my trip and making sure I had everything I needed before I started my journey. The team at the Dog Sanctuary were incredible, friendly people that made the experience so memorable and welcoming! The guest house was lovely too. It was clean and right next to an amazing beach which is a 2 minute walk away. I would love to have this experience again, and I am glad to have chosen POD volunteer as my last section for my Gold DofE.”

“This trip was everything I wanted and more. I had the most amazing time with great people who I will definitely stay in touch with. The volunteer work was so enjoyable and the presentation were very interesting and helped us understand the importance of the work we were doing. In our free time, we explored nearby, and went to the beach, and swimming, and snorkelling, or just chilling out together and playing card games. I couldn’t be more grateful for the leaders that looked after us out there, and I hope to do a trip like this again in the future. It was genuinely so so amazing and something I will remember for life!”

“This was my first time volunteering abroad alone and Pod Volunteer couldn't have been any more organised and supportive of trip to South Africa. I had the most incredible time with the elephants and made many unforgettable memories. I would definitely recommend Pod Volunteer and the Elephant Care and Research in South Africa to anyone interested in nature conservation and animals!”

“POD volunteer was an unforgettable experience for me, it was my first trip alone and away from home and I could not have dreamed better. The organization itself is very attentive and serious and as for the family there, you would not find it more welcoming and kind. I was so well surrounded, and advised.
