My experience of these plastic seats is that the included plastic hinge fails after a few years. Replacement plastic hinges are freely available and cheap but the replacement is fiddly and a general PIA. Consequently I opted for the Wirquin stainless steel hinges. The hinges supplied are good quality and easier to fit. Time will tell.
