“I had already used an independant consumer product checking site which had guided me into the best or better rated battery (plus prices) suited for my needs. I then used Batteries first again (previously used several times) to find the best buying option for the batteries I needed - I usually buy in bulk to get even better prices :) Check out process is quick and easy, then a short wait until delivery (delivery has always been prompt for me). “I have no problem with this company- always reliable, good prices and quick delivery. Where I have an issue is with my last purchase of rechargeable AA batteries - 2 sets. These are not cheap. They came ready to use -34% charge. Not really what I was expecting. Charging them only gets me up to about 70%. They are hopeless at holding a charge and quite frankly really are not up to the job. The ones these are replacing and are a couple of years old do a better job. If Batteries 1st want to maintain their customer base they need to stop selling poor performing batteries.”
