Pall Mall Barbers is a barbershop chain with six locations in London, one in Birmingham and one in New York City.

Pall Mall Barbers was originally founded in 1896 as the Pall Mall Toilet Saloon at No. 27 Whitcomb Street, just off London’s iconic Trafalgar Square. Since then, we’ve served countless gentlemen in our 122 years, helping them look their best and make their first impression count.

Pall Mall Barbers provides both classic and contemporary men’s hair cuts, as well as beard trimming and shaving services. We also offer our own unique men’s grooming product collections, men’s hairstyling products, shaving creams, shaving brushes, double edge razors, beard oils, moustache wax and traditional wet shaving vouchers.

“Big joke of the company, extremely disrespectful approach to younger clients, very inconsistent sill level among barbers and on top of that dirty shops. I've booked my haircut with one specific barber who was in on the day and finished cutting other client before my time 5minutes before. Instead of than take Mo on the chair he went to back of the store and asked other barber to cut my hair instead - so no point to wait a week for barber you want to go for as it is all up to them in the end and if they feel like it. Of course my hair cut is now ruined as the other one didn't understand simple tidy up and left me shaved for army. Before deciding to go for this company read cerfefully their website and assume it is going to be exact opposite experience.”

“Really disappointed. Tried to preserve my long hair from lockdown whilst looking neat and tidy. Epic fail. Cut too short won’t tie back. Will need to go elsewhere to fix it.”

“Made an appointment for a £60 haircut with my usual stylist. Got text the day before at 5pm asking me to confirm. Travelled to KX, booked in and then sat there for 15 mins. In the end I had to ask where she was and was told she’d quit. Shocking customer service and I won’t ever use them again.”

“The staff and the haircut was amazing but some investment needs to be done the store. How can you not have air conditioning. The Staff work hard and should not be expected to be working in these conditions and more importantly paying customers should not be expected to go through this either. Ive been coming here for over 2 years and no changed have been made regardless of numerous emails and recommendations. You cant go and invest in opening stores in New York and London but you cannot look after the existing ones...”

“Not a great haircut for the price to be honest. The older barber with the shaved head in the Fitzrovia Branch really does talk way too much and, should really focus on cutting the hair. Have been to the one in St James Park too but they’re not much better skilled unfortunately. And what’s with this tipping rubbish? I will tip but, only when I am happy and the barber had done a really good job. Here it seems like it’s “expected” even if they do a below par job. Typical of that “Traditional Turkish Barbers” really. Teds and this company avoid at all costs. There are much better around for the same price.”

“PallMall Barbers - Bishopsgate Barber - Martin £70 for two sessions to leave with a terrible haircut! The sides are horribly uneven (even with product), the back looked like it’s been cut with hedge shears, and nowhere close to the pictures I showed on both occasions (an excuse given was that they were all different hairstyles, yet they were under the same hairdresser calling it a two block haircut (korean undercut) and after studying the pictures for much longer than I would have wanted, they are exactly the same hairstyle!) I’ve had better haircuts and less rushed service from a Mr Toppers, and have had it recut by my local barber (£11) the day after.”

“Showed Jack a picture and he agreed I had the length of the hair for the look. looks nothing like it, further more, I mentioned not to use clippers and he used the small electric shaver with the comb on the back. 2.5 years of growth, cut short and I had to pay him the privilege of £37 for it. thanks, Pall Mall Barbers and Jack! for a bad haircut and me paying for it too!!!”

“I booked a re-style and I was surprise when the barber just ask me what I want with any advice. Completely dissapointed. I had to tell him what to do with my hair. At the end he just charge me as a normal haircut because he admit that he didn't do anything else that a haircut. Absolutely not recomendable if you want some advice about your hair.”

“Usually see a different barber who doesn't work Saturdays. Left with a haircut that was different to what I wanted and beard trimmed too low for my liking on the sides. Hared it that much I shaved it all off as soon as I got home. Will return but only to see my regular barber.”

“Usually very good, but today the service was poor. Requested a hair cut and was charged for a style change -- quite shocked. Had they explained their intentions at the outset I would have been more understanding, instead it reflects badly on a company who are usually my go to hairdresser.”

“Guy on reception was really surly, too busy talking to his mate. After waiting for appointment, the barber said he couldn't do hair and beard despite that being exactly what I asked for. Also, there is nowhere to hang your coat, the waiting bench wasn't fixed down and slid around, the place was dirty and nobody even acknowledged my presence while waiting, never mind offer refreshment. After finding out the barber couldn't do beards I walked out as, frankly, the place ain't cheap and should be a lot more pleasant for the money. They may be great at cutting hair, I'll never know and don't want to.”

“I went just for a beard trim and left with the neck all red with marks. The clipper wasn't in conditions to be used. After 2 days I am still having marks on my neck. Also paying £15 for a beard trim I would expect at least the barber to remove all the hair cut that was all over my face. He instead handle me a tissue for me to do it. Bad customer experience.”
