Pall Mall Barbers is a barbershop chain with six locations in London, one in Birmingham and one in New York City.

Pall Mall Barbers was originally founded in 1896 as the Pall Mall Toilet Saloon at No. 27 Whitcomb Street, just off London’s iconic Trafalgar Square. Since then, we’ve served countless gentlemen in our 122 years, helping them look their best and make their first impression count.

Pall Mall Barbers provides both classic and contemporary men’s hair cuts, as well as beard trimming and shaving services. We also offer our own unique men’s grooming product collections, men’s hairstyling products, shaving creams, shaving brushes, double edge razors, beard oils, moustache wax and traditional wet shaving vouchers.

“This is in relation to the Kings Cross branch. I am a long-time customer, having had my hair cut there exclusively for almost 5 years. The cuts seem to have gone down in quality while the price goes up. I had a bad experience today which the reason for this review, and for starting the hunt for a new barber. The straw which broke the proverbial camel's back. Sigh. So, today. As usual I was booking an appointment in my lunchbreak... At 9am I booked an appointment for 12.30pm the same day. I booked over the phone and recieved both a text and email confirmation of my appointment. I'd had a bad cut the last time (bad enough my wife wanted me to go elsewhere to get it fixed) but this was with a new barber so I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Long story short I waited 20mins, then was told another customer was going first. They then proceeded to tell me I had the apointment time wrong despite having all the aforementioned confirmations. I know that things happen, and I'm probably just being sensitive given it wasted my entire lunchbreak, but it has been a slow decline in quality of cuts, combined with a steady price increase and I feel it has got to a tipping point. If I'm going to pay almost £40 for a regular haircut it needs to be reasonably on time and good enough I don't consider it in need of fixing. It hasn't been that in a while.”

“The barbers are excellent but it’s such a shame that they don’t send out gift vouchers or cards anymore. It’s so much better to give someone a physical present rather than an electric message.”

“Went here for the first time today. Quite a lot more expensive than what I usually pay and later noticed my hair was to cut an even length on the side. Never again.”

“As big brand I got really disappointed: first because I booked in a specific time and as soon as I get there they told me that my book was changed without any notification... then they look each other and they ask to one guy, at his first experience, because I asked me if my cut was Just with scissors (I noticed and I got confirmation later from him, that he was l still learning). So I feel treated like the second chance.. nothing wrong with the boy, he was very nice, but as hair cut I was expecting definitely more.. even he cutted to much when I ask just an adjustment.. I m sorry but I would try the next time tony and guy! If I knew, I shoted a photo a picture of my cut once finished. Was unacceptable. Thanks to ask me.”

“My request wasnt met, and they made me pay before I was served so I didnt get a change for a refund. I have been coming to PMB for a long time now and this my first bad experience, will be going back to my usual barbers here.”

“Beard was butchered, cut way too short and will take a while to grow back. Wasn't tailored to my face. My moustache was clippered and not hand cut, leaving it was too short. I've been 3 times and each time something has gone wrong. Just be careful who you choose as the barber.”

“I am a frequent visitor to the trafalgar square branch, where I always have a brilliant cut/overall experience! Yesterday I decided to visit the Liverpool street branch, and i was not as impressed! Im not entirely sure why, but about 20 mins was spent purely on the lower back part of my head, using about 6 different shavers and swapping between all of them frequently ( i asked for the same as i always ask and never had this before ). Because of this, and because of how harshly he was using these shavers i got home to have some painful sores/rashes on the back of my neck! Not very nice at all!”

“I usually get a very high quality haircut from Pall Mall Barbers, however, this time it was not very well blended on the sides and back. The phrase bowl-cut was chucked around by harsher critics.”
