“I would have liked to see actual real hands doing the signals nevertheless it has whetted my appetite to learn more on sigh language, I also realised that it’s just not just watching hands, people converse using all their body language In these times when masks are used I would feel proud to communicate to my patients using BSL thank you Kim Hough”

“I really enjoyed my course, as it gave me a lot of information in a well structured, easy to follow way. Some modules were longer than others, but I really liked taking the quiz after each, so that I knew how I was progressing. The final assessment was something I was apprehensive in taking, but I really felt a sense of achievement and pride in myself when I had completed it all. Thank you Oplex, I have already recommended your courses to my friend. X”

“The only reason that it has 4 and not 5 is that a couple of the questions were wrong ie Microchip is 15 and not 16 digits. As I started the course I thought that it would be too simplistic, but it developed and at my young age of 69 I learnt a lot and enjoyed it. I recommended it to our local council as a good training programme”

“So quick and easy access. Really enjoyed my courses. I loved the quizzes at the end of each module, it really prepared me for the final exam. It was a shame I couldn’t get completely involved with the questions and have quizzes along the way ... I kind of had to cover the screen and think what I would have thought the answer would be and then check. It would be good to have a worksheet to complete throughout. Thankyou so much tho! I’ll be back.”

“I took part in the HLTA course and found it at times to be very interesting. The modules are short and digestible and have a multiple choice quiz at the end. I enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone who is wanting to up-skill their TA profession.”

“I was often confused by the poor grammar/English used in some of the modules - Incomprehensible at times as though lost in translation - Otherwise a very good overall course and it made me do my own research to figure out what was meant - The worst module was on life support - Such a VITAL part of the course and needs to be rewritten/restructured”
