“Florence - and subsequently Holly and others - were easy to reach, extremely helpful, suggested good options and really tried to tailor our holiday to our needs. We were so happy with the way our holiday turned out, and would recommend the company to anyone.”

“Off the Map took my dream and made it an experience. Every item they set up worked perfectly. Prior to my trip I had many questions and concerns. OTMT answered them all. They followed up with answers to questions I didn't ask. OTMT contracted with the best people. Everyone I met from the shuttle drivers to the hotel clerks to the dog sled driver made my trip safe and enjoyable. I felt like I had a personal guide with me throughout the entire trip.”

“Off the Map Travel are a top class company! So professional, helpful and friendly! Katie, Johnny and their lovely team go over and above board to help you with your trip. They certainly went the extra mile during my vacation last week in beautiful Finland on the Northern Lights for the Soul Retreat at Kilpisjarvi. Katie and Emma made sure all their customers were happy, safe and very well looked after from morning to late at night. Katie was so passionate about the regions that we visited and the Northern Lights. We were given lots of information and ideas about places to visit and things to do whilst we were there. We were very lucky to experience the aurora for two nights on the trot, it is simply stunning! Off the map Travel is a such unique travel company that tailor made my vacation to suit me ensuring I made the most out of my week away. I am very grateful for all your help, kindness and for making my trip such a memorable awesome experience! I will certainly be recommending you to all my family and friends :) Much appreciation Bev Nichols”

“I cannot recommend Off The Map highly enough. From the moment I enquired about planning a trip with them they were so friendly and helpful. They planned an absolutely phenomenal trip for my boyfriend's 30th birthday and it was truly unforgettable for all the right reasons. In the lead up to the trip I had lots of questions, having never done anything similar before, Chris/Katie were more than happy to provide answers and help. On the flight out unfortunately our plane was unexpectedly grounded, I called Katie and she was really helpful and reassuring (luckily we got on our way again, helped greatly by Katie rearranging our transfer). Once we were there everything was seamless. The hotel/cabin we stayed was beautiful, the trips they'd planned for us were excellent and the transfers in between worked wonderfully. I could never have planned such a wonderful trip by myself and really can't thank OTMT enough. Without a doubt I will be using them again for my next trip!”

“I literally don't know where to start - the entire holiday was fabulous from start to finish. Off the Map travel put together a fantastic tailor made itinerary for us and responded super quick to every single query we had during the months leading up to the trip. They sorted a brilliant alternative for us when the airline decided to change the flight times and we couldn't get to Kiruna on the Saturday - we had a lovely day and night in beautiful Stockholm en route. I was so pleased to know that Off the Map had everything under control and sorted it out for us - I didn't even have time to panic! We had an action packed week in Bjorkliden, again everything smoothly handled and co-ordinated by the smiling team at Off the Map. We visited the Ice Hotel, took the chair lift up to the Sky Station, travelled by Husky sled across the beautiful arctic countryside, had an exhilarating trip up to Lakta driving snow mobiles, tried skiing, learnt how to photograph Aurora and my favourite trip of all rode in a snowcat up to Laktatjakko Mountain Lodge. Not only were we treated to very delicious waffles but the Aurora decided to treat us to the most magnificent display! I did feel very special when I learnt that this trip is actually exclusive to Off the Map - it's a great feeling doing something not many people get to do! Even though the week was action packed, I came away from this holiday feeling more relaxed than I have ever done, it really is another world and the ultimate getaway from every day stress. This was probably helped by the extremely comfortable cabin that we stayed in and the idyllic peacefulness of the resort.. at times it felt that we were the only people there! Just being able to wander out at night and watch incredible Aurora displays was priceless. We were staying on a half board basis and the food was utterly delicious - buffet breakfast that catered for every taste and the 2 course menu of the day in the evening. We had no idea what we were going to be served each night until we got there but the staff were very accommodating in providing alternatives when necessary (my husband is dairy intolerant). I really cannot thank Katie, Jonny and the rest of the Off the Map team enough for providing what we all unanimously decided was the best holiday we have ever had (and we've had some good ones!). We loved it so much that we have booked again next year! Helen Craig-Jones”

“From start to finish, Of The Map Travel provided me with the perfect bespoke holiday experience at relatively short notice! Katie made the whole thing so easy - prompt responses via telephone and email, hugely knowledgeable, very flexible and sensitive to my needs (organising a proposal!), she had loads of great suggestions. Once we arrived in Sweden everything ran smoothly, across a range of transfers, activities and accommodation. Katie was at our final destination to welcome us, and check that everything was as we expected. Most importantly however, the quality of the accommodation and activities was second to none! Lounging in the private jacuzzi of our luxury cabin, whistling through fresh snow on the back of a dog sled, revving a snowmobile across a frozen lake, and sitting around a roaring fire underneath the stars marvelling at the Aurora were just some of the highlights of our trip. Great food, friendly guides (who all spoke impeccable English) and a really efficient operation...I could not think of a single way to improve this holiday!”

“We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Bjorkliden, in Swedish Lapland, booked through "Off The Map Travel". We had a night in Stockholm, followed by 5 nights in Bjorkliden. The whole holiday was magical from start to finish. Our main aim was to see the Northern Lights, so we booked several evening adventures with the hope of seeing them at least once; we saw them every night! We were also able to ski, ride on a husky sledge & drive snow mobiles. Our chalet was wonderful too, with views over the snow covered mountains. It was warm, well appointed and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious. We had the set menu which covered a variety of traditional Swedish food over the week. They were able to cater for dietary requirements. Katie and Johnny were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother for them and they made sure their guests were happy and enjoying themselves. They were able to book all the activities in advance, and timetabled them so we had some time off just to enjoy the snow. They were also able to book all the transfers, our stop over in a hotel in Stockholm, and our visit to the ice hotel. making our stay as smooth as possible. I look forward to returning to Bjorkliden and will definitely be using "Off The Map Travel" to book my holidays in future!”

“I've never been attracted to the cold or the snow, so having booked a trip and knowing the weather conditions are -20 was somewhat worrying. Katie made my life so easy by providing me with all the info that I needed. After having experienced this trip with Off The Map, I can definitely say that this has got to be one of my best experiences ever. I've travelled to over 30 countries but this experience has been truly magical. I loved every minute of it! The dog sledding is incredible! along with the aurora sky station and the snow mobility. I will never forget this incredible experience and I would like to thank Jonny and Katie for making it happen! Thank you so much and I will definitely do this again”

“Brilliant holiday organised by a brilliant company. A last minute holiday on our part has been one of our best thanks to the genuine and friendly Offthemaptravel team. From the moment we were met off the plane by Jonny to the moment that he put us on the train to start our homeward journey we felt very well looked after with every need and want catered for. A glimpse of the elusive Aurora Borealis, lying on a mountain top gazing at the stars, a magical night ride on a husky sled past frozen ice- crusted trees that twinkled under the moonlight, sitting in the snow around warming fires, snowmobiling, an evening taking photographs under instruction from a professional, ice fishing and so much more...and so much fun. Go for it!”

“I found Off the Map Travel via Google, and wasn't sure at first about using an 'unknown to me' agent, but I have to say I needn't have given it a second thought. Everything was planned and coordinated perfectly. The accommodation was superb, including a wonderful stay in a Sammi tent, and all the activities were excellent. I'm particularly impressed that they even managed to arrange for the Northern Lights to come out too! Wouldn't hesitate to book with them again, and to recommend to others. Thank you for everything.”

“Fantastic from start to finish, the booking process was very easy and Holly matched our requirements perfectly. The holiday itself was a huge success with all activities being exactly as we wanted them. Due to the unusually cold weather -38 degrees some activities had to be moved around (and one cancelled) however this was handled perfectly by Katie who is based on site. Overall a huge success and we will definitely be going back with our sons and will book through Off the Map again”

“The whole holiday experience was positive. The itinerary was organised well and we received regular updates. Logistically we were well looked after with drivers always prompt to collect. Accommodation and trips were as described. Food at the hotel was excellent. Off the map travel definitely came up trumps with offering a non standard holiday package tailored to our needs.”
