“This is a company that really excel in customer service. From start to finish, the organisation was seamless. The trip itself was utterly amazing. We were a family of four with a 10 and 13 year old. We all had our favourite moments of the trip which are sometimes lacking on other holidays. The activities were not commercialised at all which was a request from the beginning. The wilderness adventure with Anders on our last night was a memory I shall keep for a very long time..... Try it!”

“We loved our holiday. We had brilliant organisation, logistics and care from OTMT. Holly was great at booking, working out what we really wanted, Katie brilliant on site at Bjorkliden. Our favourite experience was a tour with Anders Bergwall, local expert arctic guide and all things mountain in Abisko, amazing man with wonderful knowledge. We were pulled a sled into the wilderness, dug a hole in the snow, built a fire and had coffee, snacks, champagne and chocolates. We watched the aurora and chatted until the early hours. It was an experience i'll not forget. Second favourite was the Aurora safari camp near Boden. Looked after by Fredrik and his team, we enjoyed ice sculpting, taking some fat bikes onto the frozen lake to explore, a wonderful siberian husky ride and even a sauna on the ice! This is a back to basics, feed the log burner with wood every 90 mins around the clock experience, where you can really switch off and relax or enjoy a multitude of adventures for those with itchy feet! In case anyone is concerned about the need for good communication/wifi/4G whilst away, the Swedish signal puts the UK to shame - I had good signal at all times. I found it useful to have many layers of thermals, very warm gloves, waterproof over trousers, a down jacket and an over jacket which was robust and windproof. For footwear, I had a pair of warm snow boots. Everywhere we stayed had warm clothing we could borrow, including overalls, boots etc, so the most important to take with you are the base and mid layers. I can't recommend it enough - we loved it all. Thank you Off the Map for everything you did to make it work as smoothly as it could have.”

“We had an excellent holiday! Off The Map (Katie) did a fantastic job of arranging our flights, transfers, hotel and all of our activities and excursions. We were thrilled with everything and loved all of our guides. We are a family of four with two young children and Off The Map tailored our excursions perfectly. We felt very well-attended to, and the service was great all around. I emailed Katie plenty of questions and she responded within one day. We would recommend Off The Map without any hesitation. They really know what they are doing and sent us all of our confirmations and documents well ahead of time. They were available the entire trip for questions or any changed -- Katie checked in with us each day in the hotel to make sure all was going smoothly. It was a fabulous trip - one of the best we've ever taken. We would recommend Off The Map to anyone, as they really made the trip for us. Thank you!!!!”

“This is the first time I've used Off The Map Travel and I can't praise them highly enough. From the first contact with Holly, through finalizing the itinerary, issuing travel docs, providing info, and to Katie on the ground in Bjorkliden, everything ran with ruthless efficiency and an amazing level of service. I would highly recommend them to anyone - I had an amazing adventure, and massively appreciate all their advice and organization.”

“We were a large group of all ages and I was booking it from Australia. but from the get go you looked after us so well and was able to meet what we wanted. I have already mentioned you to several travel agencies who tried to accommodate us but failed. You were able to look after us so well for example:- I have a lung problem and as soon as I needed to be picked up from the top of the station Katie managed to get us all down and in a taxi within 30 mins. They looked after us so well making sure we had the right kit and just were amazing. Thank you both for making it a great 50th anniversary for my mum and dad. You looked after us so well that all we did was just sit back and enjoy the holiday. Thank you”

“I would recommend Off The Map Travel to anyone and in fact, I already have. From the point of the initial inquiry all the way through to getting home, Off The Map Travel were exceptional. They helped to organise the trip and made some excellent suggestions in terms of the activities and the schedule. The trip itself was one of the best organised trips we have been on. From the moment we arrived in Kiruna, everything was taken care of. We were told where to be and when and our transport arrived on time every time and took us to where we needed to go. All of the activities and trips were very well organised and very enjoyable. Katie from Off the Map was present in the resort and we spoke to her several times. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, the hotel, the activities and she took a genuine interest in every aspect of our trip – from the accommodation to whether we were enjoying each activity. They know all of the organisers of the excursions personally - Katie knew them all by name and had spent time with all of them. It was very clear that Off the Map are selective about who they work with and it showed. Everyone we went out with was great – the people and the activities. We got to enjoy the activities and experience life inside the Arctic Circle whilst learning about the area as it is currently, its history and its people. We were in Bjorkliden in northern Sweden and honestly, I did not want to leave. When we go back, we will definitely be booking with Off the Map again.”

“Off The Map Travel were outstanding from start to finish. Due to my limited time, the planning of our trip took months and Katie from OTM was very helpful and patient throughout. Due to adverse weather 2 of our internal flights were cancelled resulting in hotel booking issues, however 2 text to OTM and all the arrangements were altered without any hassle !! I would not hesitate to recommend OTM Travel.”

“Initial concerns about the resort/hotel being 'out of season' were pacified with an upgrade to a log cabin which allowed for a more social environment (not available in the cold/quiet hotel) and the dedicated staff at the hotel who were excellent. The Chef, hotel staff and excursions were all excellent. The whole experience was very good capped off with two out of three nights seeing the Northern lights + seeing a herd of reindeer on the road to Narvik.”

“From start to finish Off The Map Travel provided a very professional service. They tailor-made a holiday for us on the beautiful island of Gozo; arranging a 5 star luxury self catering farmhouse with pool and jacuzzi, a hire car waiting for us at the property, private transfers as well as booking some incredible activities incl hiking and mountain biking with a personal guide, kayaking to the island of Comino and a days private boat Charter enabling us to visit all three islands and some amazing places for swimming and snorkeling. Everything about the holiday exceeded our expectations but what stood out the most, however, was the personal attention to detail such as being met at the farmhouse on arrival, restaurant suggestions and advice on the top things to see and do. I would have no hesitation to recommend off the Map Travel to family and friends and will certainly booking another trip with them again very soon”

“This is a very professional and we'll run company. From the very first enquiry, Chris was excellent at listening to what we wanted, answering our questions and making good recommendations. There was definitely no preset package they were trying to sell us which was certainly the feeling I got talking to other companies. Of course they have packages but they are really good at tailoring everything to suit you. Katie Watson was also profesisonal, very helpful and very friendly. We had some flight issues due to a strike and was on hand almost all the time via email and phone and did everything she could to help us. You could not ask for a better service.”

“From start to finish, I found the team at Off the Map really efficient, helpful and supportive. We travelled at the start of March staying for 4 nights at Bjorkliden - it's a fabulous find right next to Abisko national park. A really beautiful setting with so much to do including skiing, in addition to being blessed by a spectacular Aurora display over the frozen lake. Most of our interaction was with Katie - she was really keen to ensure that we had a fab time - and we did! She checked on us every morning to make sure that we had everything we needed and to answer any questions. All the arrangements for excursions went brilliantly - in fact the only issue we had was with Norwegian Air who were striking as we due to go home - but Katie and Johnny were on hand to support us making alternative travel arrangements. This wasn't a cheap holiday - but what price do you put on uniqueness? I would thoroughly recommend Off the Map for their attention, efficiency, enthusiasm, support and their aim to give you a really unique holiday experience.”

“We wanted a once in a lifetime trip for our honeymoon and that's exactly what Off The Map gave us. Everything about the service was personalised and designed to enhance our amazing experience. From their patience in creating several bespoke itineraries for us to choose from, to the private husky ride through Abisko park, we couldn't have wished for more. “We did the 10 day Grand Aurora Tour and indeed saw the Aurora in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Rates as one of our best ever holidays. As well as Aurora hunting the holiday included dog sledding, reindeer sledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, snow shoeing, Ice Hotel, lights over lapland and the Sky Station..... And we could have added more if we had the energy! They even recommend where you can hire your cold weather gear to save buying it. Big thanks to Katie for answering all my email queries and for lending me her hair dryer whilst in Sweden. Big big thanks to Jonny for being a wonderful guide, great fun, very informative and lastly for the T bags and milk which we were provided with on our arrival in Norway! Till next time.........”

“This was to be the experience of a life time, booked as a surprise for my partners 50th who had the dream of seeing the Northern lights, but also planned to coincide with getting married so it was to be our honeymoon too! In reality our 4 night holiday exceeded all our expectations.. it was very romantic, it was extremely relaxing, but we also packed so much in, experiencing once in a life time activity's. To top it all, we saw a spectacular display of the Aurora on our last night, and we created memories which we will never forget. Off the Map are very professional, organised and totally understood what we wanted from our holiday from the outset, and they delivered on everything.. Thank you Katie.”

“Organization for our short three night trip was exceptional. We went to see the Northern Lights and to our surprise we managed to get good views every night. We returned with some great photos courtesy of the Lights over Lapland experience. The Dog Sledding in Abisko NP is a special experience and not to be missed.”

“Where do I start....my husband and I have just come back from undoubtedly the best mini break we have ever taken. We took the Northern Lights Package and it did not fail to impress us every day we were there. From first contact with Off The Map Travel they have taken care of everything, from booking the accommodation, flights, car hire, trips out, information on the area and also what to wear. They even make sure you have milk and teabags when you turn up. The break was amazing and we would use Off the Map Travel again without hesitation, in fact we are looking to go back in January 2016.”

“Amazing 4 days, all thanks to Katie and Jonny from Off the Map Travel. A fantastic place to visit, a must for anyone wanting a break away from the norm. I can't recommend this trip any more highly especially one arranged by OtMT. Well organised, great accomodation, mind blowing views and the Aurora is something you can only appreciate in person. Fantasicly organised and the personal touch was second to none! If you are looking to go ensure you pick all the trips, from the dog sledging, snow mobiles, and the sky station is something else that you never forget, and the guys at OtMT will arrange it all for you. Loved it, and we are definitely going again!”
