“Mike, I am writing confidentially to raise concerns about the current state of operations, which are becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. Since Sam has been away, there has been a noticeable decline in performance. Clients are raising complaints, sales calls are not being returned, and overall standards have slipped. There are also signs that clients are beginning to notice a pattern in delays and lack of follow-up, which is starting to affect confidence. There is a growing sense within the business that the Operations Director is struggling to manage the role independently.
