“Mike, I am writing confidentially to raise concerns about the current state of operations, which are becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. Since Sam has been away, there has been a noticeable decline in performance. Clients are raising complaints, sales calls are not being returned, and overall standards have slipped. There are also signs that clients are beginning to notice a pattern in delays and lack of follow-up, which is starting to affect confidence. There is a growing sense within the business that the Operations Director is struggling to manage the role independently. Responsibilities appear to be heavily delegated without sufficient oversight, and key tasks are not being followed through. These concerns are not isolated, and there is a reluctance among staff to raise them openly. However, the impact is now visible in both client experience and internal performance.”
