“Very easy to use and fast however would like to optimize files without having to add a renaming extention to the beginning or the end of the file name. This is not to every users taste.”

Hi Graeme, thank you for your feedback. As the optimisation process is 'lossy' it cannot be reversed. Therefore NXPowerLite does not automatically save the optimised file with the same name as the original as this would overwrite the original file. “I am in education, that means a lot of teaching material being sent back and forth via Email and our gateway size got smaller no less! Neuxpower has made my life so much easier. It's seamless and I'm in love with the built in application within Outlook; not to mention the fact that it always give you the opportunity to send the original PLUS it reduces the size of more document types. Great job Neuxpower, that was money well spent!”

“Most of the time Neuxpower reduces files reasonably, but quite often it reduces too much the quality of the text, making reading more difficult in the reduced file, instead of removing white spaces or degrading a bit the quality of the pictures. Needs improvements in this respect! For a few pdf files of about 100Mb , it claims it cannot reduce it at all! Inunderstandable!”

At present you are using an older version of the software, and we will shortly be releasing a major new version which will include many improvements for PDF files. We will send you an upgrade to the new version (NXPowerLite Desktop 7) as soon as it comes out. In the meantime, if you have any files that you cannot reduce, we will be happy to test these on your behalf. “Neuxpower made my life very easy. I have had problems trying to email files that were not permitted ( large size) by my Internet provider. Now with NEUXPOWER it is very easy. “Really - been using i9t for years - just bought version to work w Win 10 after upgrade - use it to shrink PowerPoints to smaller size and then convert to PDF and email. Works very well - does what it says - no glitches or hangs - A+”

“I took the offer of a 14 day trial of the latest version, as I had been very happy with the performance of the older version. The new version seemed much slower so I wanted to revert to the older one. Unfortunately this option was not possible, so I was forced to purchase the new version at the end of the 14 day trial; I find the new version to be slower than the older version (on my system). I see no avantages with the new version for me. It still does a good job, just slower.”

“Hi, have used NXPowerLite Desktop 6 for some time with Windows 7. Just upgraded to Desktop 7 for Windows 10 on a new PC. Special price on upgrade and no problems. Needed new version to maintain integration with Outlook 2016. Software is so useful, avoids sending unnecessarily large photo files over the net and great for compressing photos before loading them onto the Ipad. Always works well .... Jersey Stuart”

“I have reduced 2 files, the first from 617 to 281 Mo and the second from 148 to 26 Mo. That's far from the old version that reduced to 10% any file. Too sad.”

Guy, Thanks for reviewing the software but I think those savings you are experiencing are awesome! I think you may misunderstand how NXPowerLite works. Previous versions haven't been more potent, in fact the optimization is getting better year on year. The reduction very much depends on the content of the file. For example if the file contain large embedded videos or is data heavy then NXPowerLite will not be as effective. “This program is so awesome!!! I used this to reduce my ebook files that I sell on amazon and it really helped a lot. Amazon charges me delivery fees the bigger my file is. You guys should really try to market this product for people who make ebooks for amazon because this tool will help them increase their revenue!!!!”

“I often have customers send through documents that they have scanned in an inappropriate format or the images, documents are just huge in size. NXPowerlite allows me to drastically reduce the size of the file to be able to forward these files onto other parties to ensure the workflow continues. This has eliminated the need to use dropbox links or the like when dealing with customers and staff alike.”

“Neuxpower performs as advertised. I tested the newest version on a PowerPoint file and it reduced from 78 megs to 3 instantly. Just wish it was less expensive.”

“Have been waiting for a better version that could shrink word docs of high MB as only the day before I purchased this upgrade I spent a lot of time splitting up a long word doc that was big to email. Highly recommended.”
