“Helps me a lot to reduce the size of files I send to my clients”

“I use it to compress PDF medical (Endoscopy etc.) reports generated on Meditech Expanse prior to uploading to my EMR. The size post-compression is similar to or smaller than the same copy faxed! If the pre-compression PDF is generated by the Chrome "Save as PDF" method, the compression ratio ranges from 2 to 12 (2 if purely text, and 8-12 if containing multiple photos in mere standard definition). I am fairly certain that more photos and larger the photos the report has, the higher the compression ratio. Pros: 1. Offline (for medical reports that's mandatory). 2. "Conscionable" pricing - unlimited usage on 3 machine installations. I paid for a 5-year upgrade support even though it is probably not that necessary (given we are still early in Win 10 lifecyle). But if the product delivers good value. Why not support it? 3. Based on my subjective impression: the post-compression photos in the PDF seem "lossless" in quality. 4. Batch processing. Cons: Why hasn't Google "bought" the company/technology and incorporated the technology into Chrome's "Save as PDF" output method?”

“Our IT man at work had selected this software and when I retired I bought a copy myself. It's very simple to set up and use. It's most effective for me when used on a large Word document with pictures and drawings. I have been preparing aeroplane construction manuals, each volume of which is 15 - 20MB before compression. NX Powerlite drops this to as little as 2MB by, amongst other things, discarding image data such as pre-cropping or pre-enhancement details. This enables me to send such documents by email where otherwise it would have been necessary to use Dropbox or Cloud space. The receiver does not need the software to open the document and it is completely transparent to him. Last year I had my PC upgraded and NXPowerlite was lost. I emailed Neux Power to ask if I needed to buy it again (I was prrepared to do this) and Emma came back straight away with a new key and link to recover the software, with no charge. I'm not used to customer service like this these days and it was refreshing. One of its great advantages is that the receiver does”
