“One of the main problems was that staff and students like to cut and paste large images straight from the web or import them from digital cameras without resizing them properly. I’d regularly see Word documents of 100Mb-plus. When I manually put together a file myself using best practices, I found I could reduce the size by up to 50 percent. But I knew I could never get staff and students to do the same. When I tested it with NXPowerLite for File Servers, it shrank my sample file down to a fifth of its original size! Since installing and using NXPowerLite for File Servers I’ve not had a single complaint from users – and a lot fewer people are constantly telling me they’re out of space. The only thing they’ve asked is whether I’d increased capacity since some of them realised they suddenly had much more space in their network accounts! Every time I run the software I regain another 200-300Mb per user.”

“By using NXPowerLite for File Servers the catering emails slimmed down from 30 to 3 Mb. Suddenly there were no queues any more – emails get through in up to five minutes instead of taking half an hour. We saved about 200 Gb of space straight away, a 25 percent reduction. The software ran in the background, so there was no downtime at all, which was great.”

“I’m very pleased. NXPowerLite for File Servers a low-priced product that actually does the job. It’s saved us a lot of money. I would certainly recommend it to my colleagues; we’re all in the same boat and few colleges have much of budget.””

“I was extremely shocked by how much space NXPowerLite for File Servers reclaimed, I was not expecting it to recover this much data. Overall I am happy...really happy! If you have got an education network with lots of documents then you are silly not to have NXPowerLite software.”

“The software does exactly what it says on the tin and is easy to use and understand. After my supervisor and I had tried a dozen or so different software solutions to our dwindling free space we were nearly about to throw in the towel, so to speak. Thankfully we did not. We've already begun compressing files on a single partition and after only a week of processing we saved nearly 500 GB! That's phenomenal! Plus, all this for the low cost of about 800 USD for our 10 TB system is just icing on the cake. Thank you for this product. We will refer you to our business partners and clients.”
