Purchased Thermafleece CosyWool Roll Insulation on 1st March 22 (pm), received 7 March and full Installation has followed. Great material to work with, no itching or coughing experienced. Already experiencing the benefits of "Sheep's Wool" properties. Would fully recommend it.

Easy to use. Easy to fit. It’s now called ‘the sheep’ here, as in, I’m surrounded by sheep, can you move some pls, when trapped in a low attic corner. Very pleased. Be nice if you cd take the pallet away tho…. We are all palleted out so no use for it….

Used Thermafleece Cosywool for insulating under a timber floor. So easy to handle and work with (can cut it with dressmaking scissors) and no need for masks, gloves and overalls. Far better than handling fibreglass or rockwool. Unlike rigid foam insulation, it's easy to get a snug fit in awkward gaps and no worry about flammability. And the end result was... cosy! Plus I like the idea of all those Herdwick sheep in the house.

we installed the insulation ourselves in a very tight loft space. We are both very sensitive but we could breathe all the time without masks and had no unpleasant feelings afterwards. The difference in the warmth of the room was immediate. There was a grassy smell for a few days but this soon went away. Sound damping was also good and the rooms sound better also.

Friendly, helpful service, prompt delivery. Loft insulation rolls easy to put down. Good to have the house better insulated and also to be using a sustainable product made of a natural material that might otherwise go to waste.

I have used the Cosywool Thermafleece sheep insulation for insulating my loft and underfloor. On both occasions, I have purchased the product through Natural Insulations and I am very impressed with both the product and the service provided. As the product is natural it works perfectly in my old farmhouse. After having it installed for one year it seems to provide great breathability and provides a thick, cosy barrier between the areas of the house that need ventilation and those that keep you warm. I have installed a variety of insulation materials in the past and this is by far my favourite. It's easy and comfortable to handle and it stays thick and keeps its shape making installation easy. It may cost more than other insulation materials but the health, ease of installation and peace of mind far outway the cost. If I need to insulate any more areas of my house this product will be my first choice. The staff at Natural Insulations provide excellent customer service. They give you helpful advice regarding the installation, know the product very well and make delivery very easy. I still have more steps to take in order to make my house warm so I can't say the Cosywool has completely transformed my house into an oven at this stage. What I can say however is that this product will definitely complement the other steps needed to make my home more comfortable and cosy.

Liked the bats - easy to install under a suspended wooden floor and pleasant to handle. Expect the loft insulation to be similar

We have used Thermafleece Ultrawool 2 x 50mm slabs between our attic joists and then will roll out Cosywool 150mm x 570mm x 4.3m lengths across the joists to acheive an overall depth of 250mm of insulation. Although the Cosywool isn’t installed yet we have noticed a significant difference in overall warmth with just the Ultrawool now in place. The wool is very easy to install and irritant free, neither of us needed to wear a face mask although it’s probably advisable. The Ultrawool is very dense and not easy to cut, I used a good pair of serrated sissors, the serrated bit is important and we also used a Stanley Fatmax insulation saw which is quite compact and easy to use, however, you have to keep it sharp as cutting the wool takes the edge off quite quickly. We used a Bahco insulation saw sharpener which only needs three strokes to bring the saw good again. Overall the Thermafleece is a brilliant product and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone, perhaps more expensive than the stuff you can get from B&Q, however, it’s sustainable, organic and ultimately better for the planet. Best regards, Howard Lancashire

Our loft - the space between the joists, was covered with a layer of old fibreglass insulation which itself was covered with some rubble and thick dust from the degraded mortar to seal the underside of the tiles from rain, wind and snow. We have a 1930's house that has no membrane underneath the tiles. The dust under the fibreglass insulation was black with age. It took ages and ages to clean all this out. We had rejected spray foam between the rafters (which prompted this project, but that's another story) and I wasn't keen on fibreglass again. I didn't know wool could be used as insulation. It made perfect sense as I read more about it. Wool cost more than fibreglass, but it is better to work with, great to handle without gloves all day and a natural material. After the first layer was laid, it was noticeable that the top of the ceiling was warm underneath the wool (it was cold weather and the heating was on downstairs). We now have 3 layers (240mm recommended) of wool in the loft. I also put in loft legs and some flooring. My experience and contact with Natural Insulations were excellent through my contact with Joy. I say this because I spent money with them and had a very good experience. They are friendly, informative and very helpful. The price is competitive for the product. Job done.

Bought 50mm Thermafleece sheeps wool insulation to insulate a craft shed. It was very easy to cut to size, particularly as most of the cavities were different sizes. I did try the cutting method with an insulation saw described on their site, but found it was just as easy using dress-making scissors. Really enjoyed installing a natural product and can recommend it.

I found the Cosywool Thermafleece a marvellous product. The firm were very helpful with a couple of questions I had and gave me exactly the right advice to enable me to order the correct amount. My brother & I found the insulation very easy to work with - easy to cut and fit in my loft. Ordering was easy and delivery was on time.
