“I recently had several visits to Mr Tyre in Matlock. I had winter tyres supplied & fitted to some newly refurbished alloys wheels and some summer tyres removed and refitted to some alloys I had refurbished in between. Yhey took great care with the work and did not damage the new alloys at all. I know from bitter experience not all tyre centres work like this. Thank you Mr Tyre Matlock from Phil.”

“I booked my Skoda VRS into the Worksop branch of Mr Tyre. I asked for a mini service and reported that I had a knocking whilst going over small bumps in the road. I left the vehicle for them to look at. A short while later I got a phone call from the engineer to tell me I had some major damage to the suspension. I got a quote and asked them to go ahead. The work was completed the same day and the price came out at half of what I had been quoted because of the efficiency of the engineer who did the work. The price also included the mini service. At all times the branch kept me informed of what was happening all the way through the work and they realised that I needed to save money on what could have been a highly expensive job. I am delighted with the work the staff did to my vehicle which made it roadworthy and safe again. The manager Simon Carr and his team are top class.Quick efficient and polite. This is not the first time I have used Mr Tyre for maintenance of my vehicle and I have always been highly satisfied and grateful for the work they have done. They will be used in the future for all possible repairs and maintenance because it's good to have a local repair centre where you can leave the car to be repaired and where the staff can be trusted.”

“I live mainly in France but have a small place in Matlock. On my last visit I found a puncture at 1500grs on a Saturday afternoon. The Matlock branch had it repaired by 1545hrs. Later I found an oil leak, not long before my return trip to France. Again the Matlock guys had it fixed within the hour. Courteous and efficient service, I thoroughly recommend them.”

“Recently took my wife's car in for it,s MOT at their Lightwood Road depot,Stoke on Trent and as always they were extremely pleasant and professional to deal with. I have been using them now for many years to service and maintain various vehicles and Mick and his team have always given me good service and advise and I would thoroughly recommend them.”

“Mr Tyre in Matlock are fantastic. They are ultra helpful - particularly Nick and Kevin. Our two cars are fully maintained there - twice in the last week they have come to our rescue! Thank you Mr Tyre!”

“Been a long term customer of Mr Tyre Matlock, actually following Nick from the bus station previously and more recently very pleased to be working with Kevin. Over the years had tyres, mots, services, repairs and most recently a clutch fitted. A few items of snagging after the clutch really well managed by Kevin, did ring round two others places locally for quotes for the clutch and Mr Tyre were cheaper by some distance. Highly recommended”

“I have used the Longton site for several years - all of the family four cars are serviced there - and we never have issues. When we have had a breakdown or a problem the team have always gone the extra mile to sort it out - and have never let us down. Mick on the front desk is one of the best customer focused people i have met- communicates extremely well - honest - always committed to delivering the very best solution - Excellent”

“Do not hesitate to take your car to Mr Tyre in Coventry. Excellent service and I am impressed with the standard of work. Communication was also excellent in giving detail about the works carried out at every level. I was in the store for over an hour whilst they fitted my tyres and witnesses the service, not just for myself but to others too. :-)”

“The lads at Mr Tyre Worcester, are extremely helpful, courteous and give a superb service. I broke down with a broken wheel bearing at 6.00 pm and was back on the road the next morning by 11.00 am with an amazing price as well. I would highly recommend them.”

“After getting a recommend for two of my tyres on my MOT from my regular garage I took my car to the Kidderminster branch of Mr Tyre to get them changed before winter. I had some questions on durability, grip and economy which were all answered politely and helpfully. I had the tyres changed and had the tracking done. Considering it was fairly busy the job was done efficiently and I was informed of free re-check on tracking and wheelnut tightness within time and distance parameters. Overall very pleased with the service.”

“I booked an MOT and full service for my Ford Fusion for 20th December. I then changed my mind and called in to the Daventry branch to bring the date forward. It was a good job I did because they had only booked the MOT and not the service. I was told that the service would cost me £139.95 and £19.95 for the MOT. When I went to pick up my car I noticed, at the reception desk, that the service sheet advertising the prices of the service,s said that the full service priced at £139.95 was for cars over 1400cc. As my car was 1200cc I should have been charged £99.95. I pointed this out to the man serving me. He said the extra charge was because They had put Ford oil in which costs more. I said that I wasn't happy with that explanation and knew that it would not cost £40 extra just for named oil and I knew for a fact they had booked my in for a £139.95 service. He begrudgingly gave me a bit of discount on my bill, but it was the fact that they were happy to try and diddle me that I didn't like. I won't be going back”

Dear Sue, I am very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your visit to our store. To clarify, your vehicle is a 1.4cc vehicle and uses a specialist, Ford Specification, fully synthetic oil. This type of oil does incur an additional surcharge and that is documented on our special offer leaflets. We proudly use only the highest quality and correct grades of oil when carrying out our servicing programme. However, as there was clearly some confusion, our Centre Manager gave a £25 discount as a goodwill gesture off your Major Service. I am very sorry that you feel we tried to diddle you but I can assure you that is not the case. “Visited a branch "Mr tyre Redditch Worcestershire " , had some work done on my vehicle to pass MOT test after it had failed to pass. The work on my vehicle seemed to be good standard off work. But when i came to pay I tried to question why the invoice receipt that was given to me after I paid my total, failed to include any details of my name or home address which should in theory be used to allocate payment to my account. The fitters were extremely dismissive and unhelpful in explaining this to me why no details were included for payment, and when I mentioned a previous receipt I had received from them had another customers name and address on it, (the one from the MOT) they had done, which I might add I had paid by cash as well, again the fitters got irate and dismissive saying he couldn't change it, and "if i hadn't off paid up last Saturday I wouldn't have made it out", and I think he meant , out of the building". Nice. Considering I use Mr tyre every year and have done so for the last 10 years, the service was disgusting, the fitter were moody , unfriendly and unhelpful. And even when I asked to see the work before I paid for it, they seemed put out. Not good. I don't think I'll be using them in 2017.”
