“Ordered the G-Explorer manual wheelchair. There was a bit of concern over package tracking, but after a quick conversation with the online chat, it was resolved very well and the chair was delivered within 3 days.
I upgraded from a hospital style manual chair, the Livewell Drive manual chair. The difference was instantly massive. The G-Explorer is incredibly easy to push, both by myself and a carer. Very useful features include the adjustable handles, easy to use breaks, adjustable safety wheels, which can be taken off if you often do wheelies to get up kerbs.
It also had adjustable armrests, though I've found a slight issue with this. When they're completely down, they can get caught on the wheels but this doesn't bother me personally.
The chair is very comfortable (my cat loved sleeping in it) and I haven't found any terrain I'm unable unable get over on my own as of yet. The wheels arrived with perfect pressure and haven't needed anything so far. I've had the chair for a couple weeks now, no sign of easy wear and tear.
Very good for the price. I am unable to comment on how it will hold up over time as of yet.”
“Excellent service from start to finish . Wheelchair has given my dad even more freedom as means we can take him out further afield . He has used it several times now even out to lunch with friends and could tuck himself right up to the table . No struggling to get off his mobility scooter. Just need to persuade him that it’s ok to be pushed sometimes 😃. It is very lightweight and can turn on a sixpence . We will be taking it on holiday hopefully later in the year .
Very easy to put in the car wheels removable with ease if extra space needed .”
