well organised - been there as wanting to try injecting small joints - it was described and explaied well and would like to take it up i had difficulty reaching the place as I am not local and the post code was taking me some where else may be if its clearly written that park in the museum you wil lnot miss it also we could not clear the parking pass and as i asked my husband to clear it when I left the premise ( had a bad experience from past - had to pay a hefty fine as the machine was out of order and that was not considered ) - he was not allowed to putin the code and he had to pay 12 pounds hope that will be fefunded !!

It was a really good day course. The teaching was succinct and practical and the location was very good with an excellent lunch as well. The pre-course materials were very good and the videos a perfect accompaniment to the course. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the number of models per student for practice was too low in my opinion which limited the amount of practice we each got due to crowding. A few more models, perhaps set up on each table rather than at stations around the room would have been better.

Hi Kiernan, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback following your recent course. We're delighted to hear that you found the teaching succinct and practical, enjoyed the location and lunch, and that the pre-course materials and videos supported your learning effectively. Regarding your comment on the number of practice models available: we completely appreciate your perspective. We do in fact provide more models per delegate than any other provider in the UK, and all of our models are state-of-the-art, including tablet-assisted simulation models, which we regularly renovate and maintain to ensure the highest standard of practice experience. While these models come at significant cost, we believe they are essential to delivering realistic, high-quality training. We are always reviewing the setup to minimise any sense of crowding, and your suggestion to consider placing additional models on each table rather than in central stations is very helpful — we will certainly take this into account for future sessions. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback, which helps us continue to improve our courses. We hope to welcome you back on another programme in the future. Thanks Duncan

The content and speakers were very engaging and the injections covered were all the standard topics one would need. I appreciated the focus on assessment and selection of the right patients. I do feel the content could be improved by focusing more on the finer detail which is needed when first starting to inject. Areas to include may cover how to consent someone properly, how to clean the skin and with what, what syringe size to use for what injection, proper landmarks and targets for the knee injections - we were told to practise all the approaches but only really shown how to do one. There was no mention of withdrawing to check position (ie not in a blood vessel) until right at the end which I felt.was a safety issue. It would be useful to cover how to navigate potential issues mid injection eg withdrawing blood into the syringe. Overall this was a very good refresher, but I wonder if practitioners new to injections would feel confident enough to be able to get going without support.

Really knowledgeable, skilled tutors and the delivery was fun and memorable. I know it is difficult and we should practice ourselves, but a little bit more one to one on suturing skills would have been useful
